Re: Coach Anderson (CH2k8)
Win Streak Ends at 7. Idaho State Loses 55-66
Idaho State 19 36 55
Weber State 26 40 66
Almost nothing went right for the Bengals this game, as they turned the ball over on fast breaks and missed many open looks. The game started off badly, as Morgan picked up two fouls in the first minute. Weber State and Idaho State just couldn't find a way to score in the first half, but Weber State managed to take a 26-19 lead. The second half was a different story, and Weber State was scoring easily. Most of Idaho State's players were struggling, and they couldn't come back.

Re: Coach Anderson (CH2k8)
Another Interview with Coach Anderson
February 1, 2010
Pocatello, Idaho-- The Bengals are 1st in the conference, and only have one loss against conference games, which happened yesterday at Weber State. The Bengals have suprised everyone with their record, and Coach Anderson is now a fan favorite. I'm interviewing him again this month, and the transcribed interview is located below.
DM: You only loss one conference game so far, do you feel like your team could keep up this level of play?
KA: I believe so. We lost the last game because everyone except for Gilchrest had an off day. I do not expect my guys to struggle like that again this season.
DM: Toles-bay and his Sacramento State team almost beat you. Toles-bay and Kilpatrick are the two guys that are going for the Big Sky Player of the Year award. Who do you think should win it if they both continue playing as well as they are?
KA: With respect to Toles-bay, I think Kilpatrick should win. Toles-bay isn't really doing much except for scoring, and is doing it more efficiently than Kilpatrick, but Kilpatrick has been grabbing a few boards and coming up with steals every game in addition to his 16 points per game.
DM: Which teams do you think have the biggest potential to knock you out in the Big Sky Tournament?
KA: Sacramento State is a great team, even though they are only 4-4 so far. Toles-bay is a great scorer, and his backcourt partner Dickson is one of the best freshman in the conference. Weber State, who is also 4-4, could beat us, they just did yesterday.
DM: Recruiting is obviously very important, and it is even more important when 70% of the team is leaving. What have you done to try to get players to come to Idaho State?
KA: A lot of kids showed interest in coming to play for us, because they know they will get playing time. I feel like we'll get a lot a good talent next year. I've also been recruiting kids from Europe and Africa. I played in Europe for one season after college on a small team, and I know there are very talented players there.
DM: You're facing Weber State again tommorow, what changes will you be making to ensure your vicotry?
KA: I feell like we need to attack the paint more instead of settling for jumpshots. We only had 20 points in the paint, and also barely shot any free throws.
DM: I'm rooting for you to win the next game, and thank you.

Re: Coach Anderson (CH2k8)
Idaho State Gets Their Revenge. Win 66-57
Idaho State 42 24 66
Weber State 17 40 57
The Wildcats recently ended the Bengal's 7 game win streak, and the Bengals wanted their revenge. Even though Morgan and Gilchrest both picked up two early fouls, it was a slaughter through the first half. Kilpatrick, Little, and Carson were unstoppable, and combined for 38 out of the Bengal's 42 first half points. Weber State, on the other hand, had trouble scoring. They only had 17 first half points. Coach Anderson made a strange move in the second half, putting in the bench with 14 minutes left to go in the game. After that move, Weber State made a slow and steady climb back. Fans were getting nervous, because Anderson still refused to put his starters back in the game, even when the lead was cut to single digits with three minutes left in the game. In the end, the bench held on to the lead, and the Bengals got their revenge 66-57.

Re: Coach Anderson (CH2k8)
Recruitng is going well. Because I have to get so many recruits next season, I could only call everyone though. I can't find any good three point shooters that are willing to come to my school, so I'm going to have to play next season without shooters. Gilchrest has a 70 rating in three pointers, and that is probably going to be my highest rating. A lot of the other schools have good shooters returning, like Toles-bay. I have a feeling next season isn't to go so well, especially because most teams play the 2-3 zone.Proud Clippers fanComment

Re: Coach Anderson (CH2k8)
That can be tough as not many recruits under three stars have good outside shot ratings. It does make it extra difficult to creat a balanced team. Have you looked at any world players at all? I found them to be a great and easily accessible resource early in my legacy. My CH2K8 Legacy: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...ess-suits.html

Idaho State 38 33 71
E. Washington 29 46 75
The game started like any other for the Bengals. The Bengals go back and forth for the first few minutes, and then jump out to a big lead. But this time, Eastern Washington stopped the run, and stayed within striking distance. Eastern Washington started a run in the second half, with five minutes left in the game. Idaho State had a one point lead with 30 seconds left. Valentine ran a play for Winford, who had been killing the Bengals all game. Winford swinged out in the wing for a three, but the pass was tipped! Winford hustled, got the ball back, and put up an open three with seven seconds left. The ball bounced around, and went in. The Bengals last attempt hit the back of the rim, and then made a pointless last foul. The game was over.

Idaho St. 35 32 67

After Sacramento State lost in overtime against the Bengals earlier this season, the Hornets wanted revenge. With the home crowd behind them, the Hornets hoped that this game was going to be it. Instead, the Hornets get blown out. Things didn't look good for Idaho State early, as Morgan picked up three fouls in the first eight minutes. Morgan was doing good early, and in those eight minutes, Morgan had six points and three assists. The Bengals decided to switch to a 3-2 defense whenever Toles-bey or Dickson was on the floor. The defense worked perfectly. The Bengals managed to forced Toles-bey and Dickson in foul trouble with seven minutes left in the first half. Without either of them on the court, Sacramento State had no shooters, and was shut down. Sacramento State never got in an offensive rythem, and only scored 38 points total,
