Hey everybody. It's been about a year so I figure I better wrap this up instead of leaving things out in the open.

Long story short, my XBOX 360 died a good while ago, and while I had some records and documents of what happened, sadly I wasn't terribly motivated to get everything down. I did manage to back up the saves somewhere before, but I can't speak to the integrity of the saves. As you may recall in seeing my post history, I was starting to run into problems where my players stats were getting wiped out by the game. As in career stats. Even game day to day stats. Midway through the season my starting lineup had 0's across the board for everything, and my leading scorer was someone who barely played off the bench.

I'm sorry I don't have some great ceremony and pomp and circumstance. I can tell you what happened for the remainder of the season I was posting in and the following one. I'll do that now:

2018-2019 KSU Wildcats: Finished 1st in Big 12 and won conference tournament. Earned a #2 seed but lost in the Elite 8. Trouble at the free throw line did the team in, surprise surprise.

2019-2020 KSU Wildcats: oh man what might have been before my save started glitching and my 360 died. Undefeated through non-conference play with a brutal schedule including 2 wins over #1 ranked and 98 overall UNC (neutral site and at the Dean Dome). Three wins into conference play and things went Kaput. I wonder if I could have gone all the way with two different teams.

As a fun final note, I did actually have the CPU simulate a full game between my undefeated KSU team and my undefeated National Champion Drexel team. Amazingly enough, DREXEL won with a furious series of 3 pointers to blow the game open in the final minutes.

I'm going to miss this game. I wonder if we'll ever see college sports games ever again? Would love to pick up another college BBall game. I've always enjoyed it more than the pro version even if NBA 2k plays a superior game of basketball.

Actually yes I am. Just in a different sport. Hoping to have something posted this week but I said that last week too. Been busy.

Also, I have a few pictures i took from my phone of some things from the last season. I'll post those when I get a chance along with the save files (hopefully) for those who want to pick up where I left off (and you are welcome to post here, my final team is ridiculously stacked).

Thanks. I can't believe it's over either but it had a damn good run. That's for sure. I'll 100% be doing something with the CHARLOTTE Hornets (now not 100% fiction) when NBA 2k15 rolls around assuming Civ: Beyond Earth has not eaten all of my gaming time first.

In the meantime, I've just started a Football Manager Lower League thread that can be found here. I've got an update I'm posting today/tomorrow plus integrated youtube content. Fun fun.

I love that the Hornets are back and I'll be looking out for your association with them. As for CiV, I haven't given that game nearly as much playtime as it deserves since I've had the game for two years. I'll check out your lower league FM14 thread since I'm deep into FM right now.

Here is is 2016 and this story has been incredible to read. sad to see it end the way it did. great job. seeing this has inspired me to start posting my own legacy as soon as i get the privilege to start a thread

Great job on the Drexel job. I honestly didn't see the Elite Eight run coming. Great job again, and good luck on the rest of your career. Hopefully you bag a couple championships.
