10 Preseason Days Left. I shall be doing 3 days an RL Day. So 3 Friday, 4 Saturday, 3 Sunday. This could definitely change of course depending on my time management. It could be quicker slower, we'll see but this is just a general view for you guys.

Go ahead with the cap, anybody can add a cap until the actual draft itself is posted.

I've decided to get through the pre-season quick time differently, I'll be doing a player by player overview of their pre-season with stats and such. The first one is coming up soon.

                        [6’7”│240 lbs│21 Years Old]
                        [13 PPG│9.7 RPG│1.1 APG│0 SPG│0.9 BPG│2.9 TOPG│34.3 MPG]
Pre-Season Summary: Johnny Best was drafted 10th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. The young competitor surprised many with his solid play throughout the pre-season with many believing that the other rookie he’d be sharing the spotlight with outshining him. That wasn’t the case, Best very nearly averaged a double double a game and accomplished that goal three times during his tenure. In the beginning of it all, Johnny was sharing his minutes equally with Bob but after his first 15 and 10 game, they decided to give him the ball and let him roll with it. Since then he’s been playing starting small forward for the team. A lot of teams will definitely be regretting not having drafted Best. This is a man, coming from UNLC who had a pre-season high of 24 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 blocks. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t have low points. He definitely needs to improve his on-ball defense, nobody likes a guy who can’t even get you at least one steal after 8 games, and this is definitely a downgrade from Thaddeus Young (20.7 PPG, 1.7 SPG, 1 BPG) who played great defense the previous year. Still, being a rookie means he has a lot of time to improve and we believe he just might be a future all-star in about five to six years if he keeps this up. Bob Murphy will have to step his game up if he doesn’t want to be seen as the bust.

                          Bob Murphy
                          [6’7”│250 lbs│19 Years Old]
                          [3.1 PPG│2 RPG│0.9 APG│0 SPG│0 BPG│0.7 TOPG│6.1 MPG]
Pre-Season Summary: Bob Murphy was drafted 8th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. This man was drafted higher than Johnny Best yet they’ve had considerable different pre-seasons. 76ers had faith in Bob, the man was 10 pounds bigger than Best which was a plus and he happened to be younger as well. However, they’ve decided to limit him in terms of minutes, if this is the reason for his low scoring or not, we’re not exactly sure. His pre-season high is 9 points and 4 rebounds. His shooting woes have stopped him from getting more minutes as he’s shooting worse than Best with far less attempts. Luckily, he’s had a decent three point shooting percentage of .500, the second best in his team along with a high free-throw percentage. He’s also been able to average close to one assist a game in much less time than it takes Best. Hopefully with minutes, he’ll be able to shine through and show himself worthy of his pick.

                            Xavier Rochwell
                            [6’4”│198 lbs│20 Years Old]
                            [3.5 PPG│1.7 RPG│0.8 APG│1.5 SPG│0.3 BPG│1 TOPG│14.3 MPG]
Pre-Season Summary: Xavier Rochwell was drafted 3rd pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Bobcats. Michael Jordan seemed high on the young star but he has yet to get a good amount of minutes. Earlier on, he averaged about 17 minutes a game but as you can see, that has dwindled down with time. His pre-season highs are 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. He plays behind Gerald Henderson who maintains twice as many minutes as Xavier. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Xavier will be moving up in minutes anytime soon, with his horrible shooting percentage (both field goal and three point), he’s really lacking in terms of shooting. The 3rd pick averages half Henderson’s stat in terms of points per game and rebounds per game but that won’t be what will get him more minutes. If he’s able to maintain 0.8 assists per game (equal to Henderson), 1.5 steals per game (superior to Henderson), and 0.3 blocks per game (equal to Henderson) than he might get himself more minutes as the season goes on. Of course, it’d be a bigger achievement if Xavier finds himself able to at least take more efficient shots. The only thing he’s really lacking is his average right now, get that higher and he’ll be overtaking Henderson in no time. Of course, luck has seemed to strike Xavier, Gerald recently received a Strained Hamstring injury that will keep him out for 2-4 weeks, with this, Xavier might start for the first few games of Charlotte and if he impresses, you might see all those stats double.

Pre-Season Summary: Gabriel Yu-Law was drafted 9th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers. He happens to be the sixth man in a team filled with young stars with great potential. He plays back-up for Eric Gordon and in front of Randy Foye, a man who once gave them 10 points a game, this says a lot about how Clippers feel about him. This is a man who shoots very efficiently, a man who averages six points in 10 points but has a high shooting percentage of .640, the best we’ve seen so far from these rookies. This doesn’t look good for Eric Gordon who can only manage 12 points per game in 40 minutes, that’s four times as much as Gabriel. Unfortunately, that’s where Yu-Law’s achievements stop, he doesn’t rebound enough, only averages one assists, and cannot defend to save his life, all stars where Eric Gordon more than surpasses him. Still, Gabriel has not misses a free throw since coming here and locks to be a top notch scorer as the minutes stack up. Right now, he’s only looking like a back-up shooting guard, a man who you’ll put in the game when its on the line because you know he’ll get it in, but that’s about it.

Pre-Season Summary: Jake White was drafted 6th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers. Jake White is another efficient scorer luckily for the Clippers who got lucky with two efficient rookies but much like Yu-Law, this is all he’s able to do. He maintains over .500% in field goals, three point percentage and free-throws. Unfortunately, he’s not even able to do what he’s meant to do, pass the ball. Surprisingly, Clippers have voiced the fact that they are really leaning on giving White some spotlight during the season and are thinking about starting Jake White over Mo Williams. This seems rather unlikely, Mo Williams is averaging 12 and 6 (PPG, APG) and it would be a bad idea to thrust the young rookie in the spotlight like that. He just hasn’t shown himself as being a good overall player yet. Of course, you never know with the clippers, they haven’t really had a real point guard besides Mo who played starter the whole season. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens with White as he tries to perfect his overall game throughout his rookie season.
