Yes I did, I said "I totally understand, I just don't know if its possible to make such a drastic change to the files saved to the computer once an association is started. Either way, lemme know."

I would love to make it happen but if can't its ok. Was thinking about your 2012-2013 comment and it got me thinking, we're starting this game wise as the 2011-2012 season but using the draft class for the 2012-2013 nba season - I'm not complaining - was just thinking since we're bending reality a bit we could possibly push such a decision as relocation into full effect right away

Oh, yeah, when I posted that earlier it was before i head back from you regarding the relocation. What I meant to say is that we can make the move for the 2013-2014 season, and we are starting this file on the 2012-2013 season, not the 2011-2012 season.

If its do-able in the game to change the uniforms, team name and arena after a new association has started in the game and a season has passed then I'm all for it!

Are the Warriors taken yet ? I was Brooklyn before, but I changed my mind seeing some of the off-season moves that they made

Right now the Warriors are occupied. I will go ahead and send you the Brooklyn Nets packet.

I expect that we should get going tomorrow. I want as many people as possible to have the chance to receive their packet before we open up the trading window.

I am also going to put something up to discussion here, as a favor to BaysideKings. He wants to have a 24 hour amnesty window. Previously I had said that because the amnesty window had closed in real life it would be closed until next offseason here as well. But after giving it some thought, I figure it might be a fair deal to go ahead and allow a 24 hour window once we officially get started since I implemented the top-10 trading rule upon reboot. But I want to put it up to discussion here. If you guys vote to have it, then we will. If not then we won't.

My personal vote is no.

I have an idea for the other forum. Maybe we should all make our usernames there the name of our team ex. Cavsgm or wizardsgm or heatgm. It might make trading and such easier instead of having to lookup who controls what team

How would amnesty work if the real life team already used it?

Exciting news! I am working on some new and improved packets, which I will be sending out shortly. These will include a few missing players such as Iverson and Wallace and a finances section that basically runs on auto-pilot. Now when you go over tax it will automatically calculate the total penalties and then add them into your total salary. Also, I have added a "Total" column where the "Position" column used to be, allowing you to see the total amount owed to each contract. Additionally, each box in that field will automatically calculate a total for you, even if the box was originally empty.

Also each team that has a stashed euro prospect will now see him listed on your 25 man roster (without a contract, of course). Please note that any stashed euros, player sent overseas or players sent down to the D-League still occupy a slot on your 25 man roster but not your 15 man regular season roster.

Ok- I have sent out all of the new and improved packets via PM to the 12 players who have officially signed up for the reboot. Just as a reminder, if you want to participate you need to post here or PM me saying what team you are playing. There was a list but it got deleted.

Also, just so that I don't need to say this 100 million times- You can't trade players who were signed this offseason until the trading deadline during the season. :wink:
