What you mean by where it stands? I might be able to bring you up to speed a bit just want to get a clarification on what you mean by where we stand before I jump the gun lol I assume you're asking what step of the association are we're in? Also trying PMing tarantism on the other forum as well as this one, he may have a full inbox and might not receive your PMs

Re: 30 Team Interactive Association
Like I said, I've posted numerous times on this thread and never heard back from him. I've PMed him and never heard back (his inbox is full now). I posted the other day in the other forum my 12-13 Denver Nuggets roster. Today, I happened to click on the Charlotte Bobcats team and noticed Al Harrington is the starting PF, when I never got anything from anyone regarding trade interest in him (although I did from 2 other players).
Hopefully that is more clear.
Thanks!Comment

From News/Rumors 7/28
- As the offseason trading deadline looms, the Bobcats and Grizzlies have agreed upon an 11th hour deal that will have Rudy Gay playing in Charlotte next season. The four team, 9 player trade has been in the works for days now we were just able to get final confirmation that an agreement has been reached.
In the trade the Bobcats will send out Gerald Henderson and DeSagana Diop (Portland) and Tyrus Thomas (Denver), Portland will trade Luke Babbit and Wes Matthews to*Memphis
, while Denver will have Jordan Hamilton (Memphis) and Al Harrington (Charlotte).
Additionally, the Nuggets will receive Portland's 2013 first round*draft*pick
, previously owned by Charlotte. Memphis will be the recipients of Charlotte's 2014 and 2014 second rounders, and the Grizzlies will also have the rights to their 2015 second rounder returned from Denver. Additionally, Portland will have the rights to it's 2013 second round pick returned by Denver.
We have learned that Denver was so generous in returning second rounders because there has been a protection change on the 2013 Portland pick. The first rounder was previously top 12 protected through 2015, but this has been changed to top 10 protected in 2013, top 7 protected in 2014 and unprotected in 2015.
Memphis had been desperately attempting to move Gay in the hours leading up to the trading deadline. Sources indicate that the team was deep into the luxury tax for the 2012-2013 season. Late into the night, Charlotte emerged as suiters for the former all-star forward. "We are very excited to add a player of Rudy's caliber to our roster" said the Rich Cho in a press release this morning, "he will add a scoring punch and veteran leadership to our lineup".*Comment

Re: 30 Team Interactive Association
I see what you mean now not sure why he never got back to you on things and he may have thought you was inactive like a few other people but I did see the post that you would be gone for the weekend. Maybe, he will clear up this situation once he gets on...hopefully it gets resolved.Comment

Re: 30 Team Interactive Association
I see he sent me a message on the other forum regarding the trade (that he messed up and didn't see my message). I still don't know where to frequent my visits for this league, and I had just registered on the other forum so it was a misscommunication among us all I guess.
I previously mentioned, or recommended, maybe we can have a live chat/yammer account for all GMs to better communicate.
Tar - I will get back to you soon via PM in the other forum.Comment

Re: 30 Team Interactive Association
I responded to your message explaining the situation regarding Harrington. I never got a response from you.
As far as having me control 10 or so teams at the moment....what choice do I have exactly?
Since joining you have done nothing but complain and cast doubt upon this idea. Nobody has been deleting your messages, unless there is some higher power within the forum who does not want you to be heard. Even if I wanted to, I don't have any power to delete messages as I am not a moderator.
I fail to understand where you are coming from. What do you mean by "where do we stand"? What is your problem, exactly? Perhaps if you could explain yourself I could be more helpful.
I definitely remember responding to your PM and explaining the situation with Harrington and that trade. As I said in that message, I made a mistake and thought that you weren't participating anymore. Still, I made a pretty decent trade for you (I have no reason not to be fair about it) but if it's that big of a deal then I suppose I could check with the Bobcats GM and reverse the trade.
I suppose what I am trying to say is that if there is a miscommunication here it's not on my end. I have responded to your messages and I have seen your posts here in this thread. I am sorry if I don't have the time to get back to each and every question but my life does not revolve around this forum.GO FALCONS!

Re: 30 Team Interactive Association
It seems like there was just to much going on and some people lost communication. I think were working out fine now. I'm just trying to make sure this runs well and still propose an alternative format of more real-time chatting (would be fun). Thanks Tarantism!Comment

Re: 30 Team Interactive Association
Hello all.
I wanted to throw a question up to you guys for discussion here in the thread. Based on the consensus I will make a decision.
I have been seriously considering rebooting this franchise. I would be keeping the same concept entirely, but I would be resetting the rosters and adding in the recent NBA moves. Before you say "thats crazy! look at all that we've/I've/you've done so far since we started! I don't want to start over again!" please take a second to consider my reasoning.
1. Not everybody was present before the trading deadline closed. Additionally, there were are number of teams that were non-responsive and I didn't take them over until the last minute.
2. We have already done this once, and it could be seen as an excellent test run. I feel like if we started again then everything would run a bit more smoothly. I feel that I am more organized now and also we know who is involved and which teams I will need to speak for from the start (until they can be taken over, which is ideal of course). Also, everybody would understand the rules this time around and also the mechanics of making this work. That experience should make things a bit more fun and easier for everybody.
3. Unfortunately, fully editing 80 prospects for the 2013 draft class is taking FOREVER. Because of this, we are kind of in a holding pattern because we can't start until I have the draft class ready. I try to get as much done as I can on a daily basis, but I live a fairly busy life with other responsibilities. Because of this, I have no real timetable for getting this done. I feel like rebooting the franchise would give everybody something to do while we wait. Especially considering this:
4. I would consider leaving the trading window open for a week if we restarted. I do this, however, on one condition. No player taken in the top 10 of the draft this year can be traded during the offseason trading window. I want to do this because it reflects real life, as all 10 teams have big plans for the players they have taken and have come out publicly saying this. Beyond that, one of the reasons that I am starting a franchise in the 12/13 season is because I am excited to play with some of these rookies on their respective teams. So that being said, I am willing to cut a deal with you guys. I will keep the trading window open for an extended period of time as long as no top-10 picks can be traded. I know that some wouldn't like that, but if for no other reason then I would ask that you throw me this little bone for all of the work that I am putting into making this possible for you all.
5. I would like to make some adjustments to the other forum, which would probably require setting up a new one all together. Partially they would involve cleaning it up a little bit, with a reserved forum for team write ups and my Inside the NBA forum, as well as a discussion forum and such. But also I would like there to be more info for you guys up there. I would like to expand the trading block section and instead make it a "team information" section with team rosters, trading block information and whatever else we all think might be essential team information. I would also like an amateur section, a place GMs to take a look at the amateur game and what players are coming out both this and future years. These are just a few ideas, and I feel like we could discuss as a group what else you guys would like to see featured over there.
Ok, so that about sums up my argument for rebooting the franchise. I think it would be very fun, keep everybody occupied and we could run things more smoothly.
I will open this for discussion now. I look forward to reading your opinions. Consider me firmly in the rebooting camp, but I will defer if overall opinion is against the idea.
Also I would like to say thank you to everybody who is participating. This has been very fun so far and I only expect it to get better.
Edit: I would also like to note that I would give everybody the chance to change teams to an unoccupied franchise should be reboot.GO FALCONS!
