- The Milwaukee Bucks and Detroit Pistons have had preliminary discussions centered around SG Monta Ellis. Sources indicate that the potential deal would likely involve a third team.
- In a long foreseen move, the Thunder have officially renounced guard Derek Fisher.
- The Suns have officially re-acquired F Earl Clark. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. Clark was traded to the Magic in the 2010 deal that involved a swap of Jason Richardson and Vince Carter.
- Insider reports indicate that the Warriors likely still top the list of teams for free agent forward Carl Landry. The feeling has been reported as mutual, however the Warriors likely do not have the finances to complete such a deal unless the Hornets were to agree to a sign-and-trade. Landry has also been linked to the Phoenix Suns in recent days.
- According to his agent, at least two teams have contacted Terrance Williams. "We are in discussions with a few teams" said his agent Thursday, "and that will continue until we can get the best possible deal for Terrance".
- Reports have surfaced that Jonny Flynn has indeed inked a 4 year, 14.9 million dollar deal with the Milwaukee Bucks. Flynn would likely serve as the backup point guard behind incumbent starter Brandon Jennings.

For all the GM's on here who have posted players who are on the block, instead of struggling to scroll through pages to see who is available...Check Here under the "Trade Block" forum on this site.
For all the GM's on here who have yet to post players who will be available via trade, please send me a PM listing said players with their position and I will get them posted on the site ASAP.
For everyone, go ahead and sign up at the site. You will have access to post in all forums except the Trade Block page. That page, only Tarantism and myself will be able to post. On all other pages, you will have free reign to post.
Have at it gentleman.Last edited by mrblakevincent; 07-26-2012, 08:04 PM.Comment

Also, thanks for the reply.............to be honest, I still dont really know how I actually go about doing this, lol.
May be because its late and my brain cant hack it right now (for those of you who dont know, I live in England)..........one more little question, will we be informed if someone is trying to negotiate with our own free agents? like if a restricted guys is sent an offer sheet?Last edited by Bigstrads; 07-26-2012, 05:43 PM.Comment

Re: 30 Team Interactive Association
hey all - i'm sorry I haven't been as active as you all, I missed this forum and I'm back, but I do have a few questions/concerns, as we all might:
1. I'd suggest an alternative location where we all must be active and participate. If this (http://interactivenba.freeforums.org...-block-f5.html) works for everyone, we can do that. It would be great to set some sort of alternative (AIM or some sort of messenger or even a Yammer account).
2. I struggle to understand how the actual games are worked out. I've never found a successful/active 2K12 league, and I understand the games aren't actually played, but how does it work? They are simmed?
3. I've noticed my team (Denver Nuggets) packet doesn't include Nene's $13 trade exemption. How can I/the commish add that?
4. I've already received substantial interest for Afflalo and Gallinari. Welcoming other teams. Also, how does the timeline work exactly? Speaking of the Nuggets, I know they are working to sign Ty Lawson. Would that contract take effect into this league, or have we begun and if I want to re-sign him, I need to do it?
5. I guess I'm just a little shocked by how exciting this sounds, yet confused by how it will actually work and operate. Any insight would be great. Thanks!Comment

Re: 30 Team Interactive Association
Why simmed and not played? How do we know who is performing well and not?
It will be tough to understand certain trade capabilities, especially with more then 1 team... is there anyway to include our league with something like an ESPN Trade Machine?
I'd like to sign Ty Lawson for $.01... but seriously, how do I do it? Also, how do we see the progression/regression of players not just on our team, but other teams and talent?Comment

The games are simmed because it would be unfair for them to be played. It is an interactive dynasty. The point of it isn't to play the games, its more for people who enjoy the management side of the game, hence why we are all GM's for our assigned team.Comment

Re: 30 Team Interactive Association
They're two important documents. There is the team packet you received and their is an association primer document explaining the rules of signing and trading with explanations of the cap and how the whole CBA works. it is on the first few pages somewhere. If you haven't read it, it will clear up a lot of confusion. Tarantism will let you know what the player expects, so you will not be able to do a super cheap signing or anything like that. It will all be fair.Comment
