Granger sparks Pacers to 98-92 win over Magic
Losing is a priority?
Orlando who just traded Glen Davis to the Wolves in exchange of Brad Miller and a first rounder and on a road to rebuild their team, lost to the struggling Pacers.Indiana earned just their 3rd win after great game by Danny Granger and DJ Augustin.
Orlando will now look to get better chance for the first round draft pick next year. They're 4-8 now and their team isn't capable of anything else but watching the playoffs at home.
Jameer Nelson played at his maximum today, scoring season high of 22 points.

Orlando laying last in East,8 losses in a row
Orlando are playing so bad after the Glen Davis trade, they had not even register a win.Losing by big margins against Dallas and Toronto was frustrating. They also lost to conference leaders - Heat and Knicks.
Anderson Varejao got back and he played his first four games for the team.He had 16 rebounds in the game against Toronto.ORLANDO MAGIC NOVEMBER PLAYER STATSOrlando Magic Stats - 2012 Player GP MIN PPG RPG APG SPG BPG TPG FPG Arron Afflalo 18

DECEMBER REVIEW
The Orlando Magic recorded 5 wins this month including a huge 130 to 97 win over GS and Anthony Davis.
Last month of the year started with a win over the Grizzlies which was good, but there was some bad stuff.Magic's top scorer Arron Afflalo has broken his arm and he was supposed to be sidelined for about 7 weeks.
Jameer Nelson led the Magic to their 4 other wins.He had some nice games, dropping 30 in a loss against the Bobcats.
Orlando are staying last in the Power Rankings and the Eastern Conference both with just 9 wins and 26 losses.

Re: A Magical Rebuilding | 2k11
Last in East, looking for the top pick
First season without Dwight Howard,as everyone expected the Magic were almost losing everything.Finishing at last place in the Eastern Conference with just 25 wins is bad.
But we know it was a rebuilding year for Orlando, they signed Alonzo Gee and Arron Afflalo who were at most times the best players in the team led by veteran point guard Jameer Nelson.Big Baby Glen Davis was traded to the Wolves in exchange of Brad Miller(more important was the 1st round draft pick).
Jameer Nelson led the team in points with 13.8 per game.Four players finished with 10 or more points per game for Orlando - Nelson,Gee,Afflalo,Vucevic.
Rookie Perry Jones was selected in the All-Rookie second team.He average 8.9ppg alongside with 6.5 boards per game.Including a stunning 29 point,14 rebounds performance against the Hornets in February.

NBA DRAFT LOTTERY
Orlando Magic will chose with the 4th,the 17th(via Bobcats) and the 18th(via Wolves) picks in this years draft.
Prospect Scouting
Tony Mitchell,PF
North Texas College
6-8
235lbs
Strengths: Athletic combo forward with an intriguing skill-set ... Runs the court extremely well and is a frequent target for lob passes in transition ... Solid size for either forward position, standing about 6'8" with a long wingspan ... Displays the quickness/versatility to guard multiple positions at the next level (via nbadraft.net)
Weaknesses: Could be a good small forward or power forward in the future, but has yet to really establish himself as one or the other ... Needs to prove that his shooting numbers this season (45.7% on less than two three-point attempts per game) aren't a fluke ... Looks like he's become more comfortable putting the ball on the floor, but isn't the type to take his defender off the dribble a lot during games (via nbadraft.net)
ISAIAH AUSTIN,PF - C
Baylor
7-0
215lbs
Strengths: The 7’0” center out of Arlington Grace Prep Academy is the nephew of former NBA center Isaac ‘Ike’ Austin, and he wears the eye-goggles to match ... Austin promises to be a top 5 pick in the NBA draft if he continues to improve ... He has immense length and uses it by blocking several shots and altering numerous others ... His timing is very good, knowing when to leap for a block and when to stay on the ground, even if he does lean in with his arms picking up unnecessary fouls
Weaknesses: Besides long jumpers and shots out of pick and pop situations, Isaiah doesn’t have much of an offensive game ... His back-to-the-basket moves are extremely simple, and a little bit uncoordinated, and he gets pushed around down low due to his long thin frame ... However, he never hesitates to push back and always keeps two hands on the ball when initiating contact - both signs of a true, fundamental big-man at the next level
Dario Saric,SF
Croatia
6-10
220lbs
Dario Šarić (born 8 April 1994) is a Croatian basketball player. He currently plays for Bilbao Basket. Šarić was named Most Valuable Player of the 2010 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship in a unanimous vote, after leading the tournament in scoring (24.3 ppg), rebounding (11.5 rpg), and finishing second in assists (5.8 apg). He registered a triple-double in the final, becoming only the second player to do so (after Ricky Rubio in 2006).[1]
Šarić also played in the 2011 FIBA Under-19 World Championship, where he finished fourth in scoring (18.1 ppg) and third in rebounds (10.1 rpg) despite being one of the youngest participants at just 17 years of age.
He's won the gold medal with Croatia in the 2012 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship, where he finished first in scoring (25.6 ppg) and second in rebounds (10.1 rpg). Soon after scoring 39 points to lead Croatia to victory in the gold medal game against Lithuania, Dario Šarić was voted unanimously as tournament MVP. (via wikipedia)
James McAdoo,SF
North Carolina
6-9
230lbs
Strengths: Smooth forward with big potential ... Great athlete with excellent run/jump ability ... Big frame that should continue to fill out quite nicely ... Strong finisher in the paint, due to length and body-control ... Aggressive rebounder who attacks the glass on both ends of the floor ... 7'1" wingspan and solid anticipation make him a threat as a shot-blocker ... Impressive outside shooting ability... High release point and developing range ... Outstanding skill-level all around
Weaknesses: At 6'8 1/2" he only has average size for his natural position at power forward, but does have the potential/skills to transition to the perimeter if he chooses ... Needs polishing and seasoning in developing his already promising ball-handling and passing skills if he wants to be a full-time wing player... Right now he relies on his outstanding natural instincts in the post, but should work on developing a few go-to moves...
Rodney Hood,SF
Duke
6-7
185lbs
Hood was named to the All Southeastern Conference freshman team after averaging 10.3 points and 4.8 rebounds this past season. He suffered a deep bone bruise to his left knee in a 73-64 loss to the University of Kentucky on Feb. 21 in Starkville and the injury caused him to miss the next game against the University of Alabama and then didn't play more than 21 minutes in the next three games. In what would be his final game in an MSU jersey, Hood had eight points in 45 minutes in a season-ending 101-96 double-overtime loss to the University of Massachusetts in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament on March 13.

Jennings signs with the Magic
Free agent Brandon Jennings, who played only for the Bucks in his career, will join the Orlando Magic on a 5yr/83.74mil contract.
Jennings will be a 5yr point guard next season and he said he want to play in the playoffs. He couldn't do this thing with the Bucks but in a rebuilding Orlando team,he saw a possibility.Orlando also receive Ronnie Brewer in a trade with the Mavs on draft night and they got Rodney Hood with the 4th pick.
"It's a solid team now,Hood will be a great player,i'll tell you ! Im tired of Milwaukee and the Bucks,it was time for a change.
I PROMISE WE'RE MAKING THE PLAYOFFS!"
A comeback was made
Ryan Anderson is also coming back to Orlando. After spending two seasons in New Orleans,he decided to go back to Orlando.A nice move by the Magic GM,he will provide some three point shooting from the bench for sure.
