Re: 2k13 Cleveland Cavaliers - Rise up and Rebuild
The Lakers would resign Howard in free agency as he hinted he wants to stay with them multiple times. And they would sign spot up shooters in free agency because of the Run N Gun Offense.Comment

Re: 2k13 Cleveland Cavaliers - Rise up and Rebuild
Thank you all for the insight... This is EXACTLY what I wanted this thread to become because I'm not super involved in following the moves and rosters of ALL the teams in the NBA...
I will be posting the Draft Lottery %'s and results sometime tomorrow... Also, I'll post some of the "unhappy" players around the league who are looking to be traded or receive way more playing time...
Icy_V ---- You should try to get a 3 and a 5 in the draft. You could trade Andy to a contender for an expiring and a 1st, but he is so amazing in this game that i wouldn't recomend it. You have plenty of cap space for Kyrie, TT, and Dion, so just look for some players at the 2 and 3 who could compete with a starter. I personaly prefer Dion as sixth man but give him more min than any other 2 because the second unit often doesn't have anybody to make their own shot.
Thanks again for the insight fellas, I hope your enjoying the thread.Comment

Re: 2k13 Cleveland Cavaliers - Rise up and Rebuild
I don't really know all the players in the draft too well, but my favourite team, the Raptors will be looking for a young small forward that can defend and shoot the 3 ball well. They may also try to trade Bargnani somewhere in the off season and make Ed Davis their PF of the future but I don't know who would take BargnaniComment

Re: 2k13 Cleveland Cavaliers - Rise up and Rebuild
Around the League Pre-Draft Rumors
Cavaliers
Several teams have contacted the Cavs about the Services of Anderson Varejao... Andy led the league in rebounds per game last year and would be a valuable asset to any team on the cusp of a championship... Even with a good draft and a decent Free Agent pickup, the Cavaliers probably wont be competing for a Championship next Season, so, they could look to move Andy for a younger, more athletic big man...
Teams interested:
Celtics
Thunder
Timberwolves
Kings
DeMarcus Cousins doesn't seem like he's happy in Sacramento... Its no secret that he's had off the court issues and some people around the league question his effort at times, but, I don't think you can argue the fact that he's one of the most talented big men in the NBA... Kings new head coach Ralph Bender plans on building his entire Offense around DeMarcus but, he's also been told by his GM that if the offer is right, the team will trade him if they feel like it benefits the team in the long run... Despite what the team says, I highly doubt they would trade a franchise big man with the talent of Cousins, you never know though, some team may blow them away with an offer that they simply can't refuse...
Teams interested:
Celtics
Thunder
Lakers
Cavaliers
Jazz
Derrick Favors
Great athleticism, Great size and a great offensive player in the post... Favors has many skills that teams look for in a big man... In Utah, he doesn't see much playing time behind Paul Milsap and Al Jefferson... Also, we're hearing that Center Enes Kanter is well liked by the Jazz staff, and that doesn't bode well for Favors going forward... He's voiced his displeasure with his role on the team and now, the ball is in the front offices court as they have to make a decision on his future with the team...
Interested teams
Cavaliers
Celtics
Heat
Timberwolves
The NBA Draft is only a few hours away from kicking off... Will any of these players be moved by then?Comment

Re: 2k13 Cleveland Cavaliers - Rise up and Rebuild
Even though the jazz did well in your season, I don't think they're trading Favors. I think Millsap is gone at season end. If he resigned they may trade him to a team for a wing player.
And I think you should look to move Bargiani of the Raptors. They have David behind him and he doesn't embrace their new defensive scheme. I could see him being shipped to Denver for one of their 3 s. or to Phi for wright and Thad Young.
I could see Portland looking to revamp their bench with alot of scorers. They only need to add depth.Comment
