With that said, I will go over the key signings one by one.

Last season, Tiago Splitter continued to establish himself as a quality big man in the NBA, averaging career highs on minutes (23.2) rebounds (5.8) and blocks (1.1) In those minutes,he scored an efficient 8.6 PPG on 53.5% shooting. He will continue to be a Key role player on this Spurs Squad and this was a good signing. He could see a decline in minutes this year, in favor of Rookie Center Willie Cauley-Stein and could be knocked even further down by free agent guard Nate Robinson, who we'll get to later.

The Pacers are a solid team with Title aspirations. As Paul George Has developed, they may be able to do that. Especially with bringing back the same corps for the most part. David West is a great post scorer and offensive presence who has a little finesse to his game to complement Roy Hibbert's Power based post moves. The team has one of the best starting 5's in the NBA and has Danny Granger coming off of a season where he averaged 23.5 PPG.Woth the strength of the teams defense and the potent, if non-elite, ability to score should make this team one of the favorites to challenge the Heat in the East, along with Brooklyn, Detroit, Philly, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Chicago, Atlanta... You know, as much as people say, and are right about, the West being the tougher conference, the East is no sluch this year with some of the free agent acquisitions made, although the road to the title in the East runs through south be until the Heat's 3 kings are dethroned. The Pacers have a legitimate shot at doing so with the return of West giving them a vastly superior front court.

The signing of Andre Iguodala was one many predicted all along. His signing makes this team a playoff contender again. He gives them a premiere perimeter defender, something they sorely lacked last season until they got Jimmy Butler. Iggy is also an offensive and rebounding nightmare. He can shoot, pass, penetrate, handle the ball, and grab 5+ boards on every night from the 2 guard or 3-forward position. If team made an effort to slow the team down by trapping the point guard in a corner, a strategy used notoriously by the Heat, then he can run the offense with outstanding effectivity. He is a true do-it-all player and will have an immediate and positive impact on the team. Moreover, they have designed a team that can exploit the Miami Heat's flaws. They can now have a lot of passing to counteract the Heat's High pressure man-defensive style, they have multiple ball handlers so you couldn't trap the point with a double at the corner, they have a dominant front-court with Noel and Horford that can take advantage of Miami's front court. And they have to premiere wing defenders in Iggy and Butler so they can play one on one with Wade and LeBron and not have to sacrifice a man on a double team, meaning that Jacque Vaughn could play his-low help defense style and keep guys on Miami's shooters, and have Nerlens Noel Defend the Middle. None of this is possible without the versatility and talent of Andre Iguodala. They also retained the star point guard of the future Jeff Teague. He gives them a great do it all point guard who is unselfish and his the potential to be a great player in the mold of a slightly less quick Tony Parker. He is a key player in this system and retaining him was a must. They also got depth behind Iggy and Teague in 10th overall pick Tim Hardaway Jr., JJ Redick, and CJ Watson.

Nate Robinson is the sparkplug off the bench that every title contending team needs. Last season, it was Jeremy Lamb on the thunder. Before that, it was every on the heat roster not named LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh. The Year before, It was Jason Terry on the Mavs, with a sprinkle of JJ Barea. MJ's Bulls had a saloon door of guys, Steve Kerr, Toni Kukoc, Gerald Hodges, etc. Robinson was born for that type of role, and he will fit seamlessly there on San Antonio. The firepower on that bench is phenomenal, with Nate, Danny Green, and Rookie Jeff Southerland. Thaw, along with the starting 5 there, primes them to be a title contender for at least the next season or too. Great move by the Spurs.

The Suns have really impressed me the last season or so. Not in the win-loss column, but in the way they have assembled the roster for the future. Goran Dragic has become a very talented facilitator (averaging a double-double last year with 14.9 PPG and 10.5 APG) and is a good complement to the two guard they brought in at the trade deadline last year, Eric Gordon. Gordon, is a shooter, and a talented on. he is a great target on drive and dish plays by Dragic. The back-court is now a good tandem for the future, and the Suns' famed training staff should do wonders for Eric Gordon,as they have done to many a talented, injury prone player. Michael Beasley is still a question mark, but at least played well last year, averaging 17.6 PPG and 7.9 RPG last year while playing the 3 and four spots. Scola is still a consistent 15 point 8 board a night kinda guy who will be good for the team and better then his numbers convey. To get Eric Gordon they traded away Center Marcin Gortat. This was the right decision, but it left them with newly acquired Robin Lopez and Jermaine O'Neal at center. Bringing in Pekovic will help improve this team greatly and fill a huge hole at center. Good move by the Suns.

The clippers have brought in some key, clutch, veteran role players to help the push for a title. They also brought in Devin Harris to play PG now that CP3 is gone. Ray Allen, Chauncey Billups, and Jamal Crwford will all spend time at the 2 guard spot. while Carter will mainly play the three to spell Caron Butler. While the loss of CP3 is a major blow, this team will recover, it still has a perrenial superstar in Blake Griffin and pairing him with Center Al Jefferson, who they got in a trade with Utah involving Eric Bledsoe, gives them maybe the best front-court in basketball. This is still a scary team.
Birdman showed why he is still relevant in this league last year. He played very limited action last year in Miami but made an impact. He usually only made about one basket a game in 9 minutes of action, but that one basket would be a momentum builder 90% of the time. He would usually score on a ferocious offensive putback, that boosted the teams spirits when they were at a low point, and at that moment, it would spark a run ti help the team take obver the game and win. Thats the type of play he need to be able to achieve here in Chicago. He is a spark on the bench, he doesn't do much, but he does something important, and its a necessary piece to the title squad.

The Bucks have made themselves a legit threat in the east with the unfathomably unpredictable Dwight Howard signing. Oh, but then again, it's Dwight. Many Believed after his DPOY campaign he would stay in LA, but he flip flopped his opinion for a while and decided Milwaukee was better? What? Not to say Milwaukee is a bad place but seriously, the Bucks, over the Lakers? Sigh... Either way, this is a great roster for him , so maybe titles really are at the forefront of his mind. with the return of Brandon Jennings, the trade for Evan Turner, and the trade for Derrick Williams, they have a solid group of floor spacing shooters for Dwight, and Tony Allen is the best perimeter defender in the league. This is like a better version of his orlando squad. And now they have real title aspirations.

I'm very confused with the offseason of the Rockets, they brought in some good players, but they all do the same thing and I don't know how they will mesh. Marcus Smart is a combo Guard who is learning the position and could develop into a stud but needs time. He reminds me of a more point guardedly version of James Harden. The you have Jeremy Lin, another point guard, Aaron Brooks, another Point guard, JArrett Jack, another point guard, James HArden, a star 2 guard, and JR Smith, a star 2 guard. Oh, and they brought back Rip Hamilton. So thats seven players to play at two spot, maybe three if you think that JR andRip can play 3 in a pinch. That is the definition of LOGJAM. We'll see how it plays out.

Anthony Davis, Ryan Anderson, Carlos Boozer, Kelly Olynyk, Cody Zeller, and Marcin Gortat. No way New Orleans can Keep ALL of them happy. At least if need be, Booozer is a minimum contract that can be cut or moved without any trouble. And Olynyk and Zeller are rookies so they can live with a year on the pine. But even still its crowded. Depth in the frontcourt is important but this is outrageous.

The Warriors are a talented and Deep team. They Have a great starting five in Curry, Thompson, Barnes, Lee, and Bogut. on the Bench they signed pat beverley and drafted Otto Porter. Brandon rush showed up last year as well. Draymond green is a great piece to have in your rotation, and now the return of Landry gives you a talented scoring high post big off the bench who is a hustle guy. This is a playoff team. With some time, it could be a title contender.

Chris Paul is headed to Detroit to pear up with Greg Monroe. He will have a great off ball scorer next to him in Brandon Knight as it is expected that Stucky will be traded soon for a quality small forward who plays on ball defense. Monroe will likely play the 4 with Drummond playing the 5. Maxiell will provide good depth while Gorgui Dieng is an outstanding prospect who can contribute defensively from day one. There is also depth on the wing and in the backcourt to pair with the ********* front court. Jose Calderon is a good player who can shoot the three well enough to play point or shooting guard. they Also drafted rookie PG Brandon young in the second round and have second rounder from last year Kim English at the two. The weakness of this team is at small forward. And that can be remedies once Stuckey gets traded.
