The Orlando Magic are pleased to announce Hedo Turkoglu and the team have agreed to an extension of his current one year, eleven point four million dollar contract. Turkoglu will continue to make $11.4M for the 2012-2013 season. He will make $1.78M in the 2013-2014 season. In 2014-2015, Turkoglu will make $1.78M. And in 2015-2016, Turkoglu has a player option for $1.78M.
The Orlando Magic GM, Charlie Davis was available for comment before the Suns game. "First off I would like to say what an honor it is to have Hedo Turkoglu play for this team for the next 2-3 years. No other player screams Magic quite like this guy when you talk about players currently on the team. Everyone currently on the team besides Jameer really have been on this team for more than two years. We look forward to having Hedo mentor our young players and hopefully end his career with this organization...and a ring."
