Belltown Tigers vs Belleville Tigers
Belltown High School
Coach Anderson:Alright, this is our home! Our court and we're not going to allow them to defeat us here.
Relentless basketball is what I expect, be active on each end of the floor and we can say hello to a 2-0 record.
Alright Tigers on 3; 1, 2, 3
TIGERS, TIGERS, TIGERS
First Quarter
PA Announcer: Belltown wins the tip off. Expect a great game Belltown!
PA Announcer: And Jeremy Dean three point jumper connects with the bottom of the net to begin the game.
--
PA Announcer: 4:16 seconds left in the first. Belltown's Jeremy Dean remains with the hot hand as he accounts for all of their points with 11.
PA Announcer: Belltown's Jerry Williams with an assist to Christian Carter after the fast break.
PA Announcer: Score 13-6 Belltown. Belleville brings a double team towards Jeremy dean leaving Christian Carter open again for the layup. Score 15-6 Belltown leading.
PA Announcer: Belleview calls timeout with 3:30 seconds remaining in the first quarter. Score still 15-6.
Coach Anderson: We're looking good so far but too one dimensional. Jeremy can't carry us the entire game so we've got to have more people step up. Let's get Stone and Cole in for Adrian and Eury. Remember to push the ball on that fast break. Jerry award those running the floor.
--
PA Announcer: Out of bounce, Belltown basketball.
PA Announcer: A beautiful pass by Jerry Williams to find Stone Harper camped out for an easy two. Score now 17-6.
PA Announcer: Foul committed by Jerry Williams.
PA Announcer: He connects on the first. And nails the second. 2 for 2.
PA Announcer: Jerry Williams cherry picks the ball up the court to Cole Smith as he gets an easy shot under the basket.
PA Announcer: The basketball is intercepted by Belleville and they push it on the break to burry the mid range jumper.
PA Announcer: Harper Stone draws a foul. Belleville makes a substitution. Harper connects on both free throws. Belltown leads 21-10.
PA Announcer: The mid-range jump shot is made by Belleville's Felton Felipe.
PA Announcer: Stone Harper pass on target to Cole Smith running the floor. That's 4 points for Cole Smith. 1:15 remaining in the first.
--
PA Announcer: Jeremy Dean misses the shot and Belleville will hold for final possession.
PA Announcer: Ball swung out to Loren Markus and he makes his first field goal being a long mid range jump shot. 2 seconds remaining.
PA Announcer: Jerry Williams launches a half court jumper but falls short. Belltown leads 23-17 heading into second quarter.
Coach Anderson: We've gotta get more aggressive on offense guys. You're taking too many breaks and settling for less too often for my liking. We've gotta push the ball and wear out Belleville because as you can see their gaining back on us. We've got to get on the offensive glass, pick up are tempo, and find those cutters then we've got this game. Just keep that in mind.
I'm gonna rest you and you *Points at Chris and Jerry* but I'm going to need you guys back in soon if we don't pick our game up. Stone I'm putting you at point, Kendrick you get out there, Eury, Adrian, and Cole.

*leans over to Brandon*
Dontae': Yo, I feel bad now. The post D is looking terrible and it's my fault. Those guys needed me and I let them down. You know what? If we pull out this win, I'm taking the team for a surprise.

Belltown Wins 72-51 - Locker Room
Coach Anderson: That's exactly how you close out a game. Give yourselves a round of applause. That's was glorious closeout to watch!
Everybody really stepped up today and I am very proud. We finally started to get points on the break, dominated in the paint, rebounded, and even passed the ball well.
Just great. And Christian that's a hell of a point you made out there. I want you to play just like that all season long.
Alright you all can go get dressed now. Great work.

Varsity Belltown Basketball Falls to Belleville 67-63 in Overtime
Written By: Belltown News Submitters

The Varsity basketball team hosted Belleville High School tonight but ended with an unfortunate lost in overtime. This lose pushes the varsity team's record to 0-2.
The entire Belltown team achieved in all contributing and playing team basketball in a solid way as the bench scored 27. It just was not enough the defeat the talented Belleville basketball team.. Starting senior Roman Elijah scored the team high 12 points off 5-11 shooting as he gave his two cents to keep the Tigers fluent in the game.
Throughout the first half and third quarter it appeared to be our game until the last quarter came and Belleville broke loose. Even with the relentless defense offered from our Tigers the game just wouldn't go our way. Coach Lucas says we plans on making changes the game plan very soon.
The Tigers will look to bounce back with a victory when they host Brother Rice next week on December 5th.

Re: Restoring the Fear: A Belltown Tigers Legacy
No problem man. You won't believe it. This car came in the mail! It had a note attached to the drivers seat tho. It said "Louisville always has a spot" I didn't know what that meant but my dad told me not to say anything to anybody. I figured you might understand it
