Welcome back to another day at Belltown High everybody. I'm Mrs. Hope I'm honored to serve as principal.

Today is character count quotes day. The quote is one spoken by Les Brown, "If you take responsibility for yourself you will develop a hunger to accomplish your dreams."
In a short summary this quote is saying that being responsible for yourself will tend to create better self confidence regarding your responsibility allowing you to want and also believe you can actually achieve your goals.

Tyree: He's got a nice game.. I don't even want to compete with him for the spot though. I want to start, and I don't care what position either.
Omari: Yeah that would be the case but Coach Anderson is the biggest d*ck rider around. He's not benching Christian no matter what.
Tyree: He's gonna be benching someone.
Omari: I'm telling you, Christian can't shoot for **** so he's stuck at the post positions, and coach loves Jeremy, and right there is the only starters with possibility of being benched.
Tyree: I just need one chance to show him I can be the best player and the leader that this team needs. If I get that chance, someone's stayin on the bench.
Omari: Good luck bro. I know one thing though, I ain't gettin no playing time any soon.
