Create a Recruit for East Coast to West Coast CH2K8

Okay so I am beginning to start Year 2 with my Career Closed Legacy with Coach Akpan at Cornell.

What I would like is your recruit.

    Name/Hometown/State

Pos/Height/Weight/Skin Color/Face/Hair Ect if you want to get that detailed.

3 positive attributes and 2 negative attributes.

My plan is to make the recruits around a 4* rating (Mid 70's) with 99 Potential.

I want realistic Height per position and I won't make any big men taller then 7'0. Sorry no 7'7's.

    Example PG 5'9-6'3, SG-5'9-6'6, SF-6'4-6'9, PF-6'7-6'11 C-6'8-7'0.

If I remember right it will only allow me to make 10 recruits each season.

I will go with guy's who comment on my thread first, because I at least know they are actively reading. My plan is to make this first batch all Soph's so that I will have time to recruit and scout them with the possibility of trying to get them to join Coach Akpan where ever he happens to be after their senior year. (Figure in 3 years, I should be at a Mid-Major that has a chance to landing some decent guy's.)

Just post your players here on this thread not in my actual thread. Also if you want you can PM me.

Once created I will update you on their Top-schools list throughout their recruiting season and once in their Senior Year update you on what schools offer a scholarship.

Once in the game, I typically do a writeup about the players stats 3-4 times throughout the season and update how they do in the conference tourneys as well as any post season tournaments.

Re: Create a Recruit for East Coast to West Coast CH2K8

what does 3 positive and negative attributes mean?
physical attributes? ie: SPD STR etc?

edit: btw GREAT GREAT GREAT idea I actually thought of something similar to spice up my legacies but you beat me to it, i'll do something similar but i'm waiting until i'm in a school I want to be in (aka Fordham perhaps or a power school in the East)

let's face it the more things that keep us interested in our dynasties the more invested we get the greater the chance we keep it going

The height limit is going to ruin my plans for a 7'3 center. Oh well, I'll make a SF then.

btw i'm not certain but i believe POT is what determines early departures into the nba draft.. so may want to rethink the 99POT's i'd like to see these guys make it to at least their JR year

            just something to think about

This is actually something I have done in past legacies back in the day with my Fab 5.

What I mean by positive attributes, are 3pt shooting, rebounding, dunking, mid range ect..

Negative attributes would be things you are not as strong in. Maybe you lack a Mid Range jumper, maybe you are not the best defender, or maybe you don't have the best ball handling skills.

Okay so any of those recruits posted above are created and made as HS SO for Year 2 of my thread..

Love all the New Yorkers, if I am still at Cornell hopefully they will be interested, if not I will have to sway their interest where ever I go.

For all future recruits. Please also include if you want to be left handed or right handed.

Also I really enjoy Much to Learn's idea of saying

PG - Distributor, Shoot First, Defense
SG - Slasher, Pure Shooter, Defense
SF - Slasher, Pure Shooter, Defense
                            PF - Finesse, Banger, Defense
                            C - Finesse, Banger, Defense

This does help create the players quicker, but I would like to include that you please remember to pick weak attributes that would actually effect your player ratings a little.

Saying a 5'11 PG isn't good at rebounding or Blocking is pretty much a given.

Also Just saying Shooting or Defense as a strength is great but be more specific. Good at 3pt, or Mid range, good at on the ball or are you good at getting steals.
