No Country For Young Men—Predictability Reigns In Round 1 Of NEAC
Hartford 82—74 Camden
The favourites took this game behind 20 points from Matt Bless. Jo Kane shot the ball well, but a cold streak in the 3rd and Camden's inability to defend sent the 8 seed home unhappy.
Rochester 76—72 Harrisburg
Bryce Robinson and Angelo Valdez combined for 39 points to lead Rochester past Harrisburg. The Miners were unable to match the rebounding prowess of the Challengers and thus fell.
Baltimore 81—71 Bel-Air
Trey Youngblood ran into the hottest team of the NEAC in the first round. Shaq Davis' 14 rebounds and Ryan Kilpatrick's 17 points offset Youngblood's 32. The freshman can hold his head high, just in an early off-season.
Bilikens Banished By Berserk Malone 75—68
Jerry Malone exploded (+2) for 22 points and 17 rebounds in Dover's easy win over Buffalo. Casen Lewis added 18 points for the lucky Colonials, who will face a much harder test next round.

Good game for both teams, surprised we won even though Youngblood had 32.INACTIVEComment

Hartford Moves On To Final, Strengthens NCAA Bid
Matt Bless put up 20 points and 9 assists and Red Sky scored 14 points in his late return from injury in the 74-67 semi-final win over the Rochester Challengers.
"I'm proud of how these boys have played. They never lost focus and showcased some serious talent," said Rochester's coach.
63-58 Shaq Davis Defensive Showcase Leads Wolves to Hartford
Shaq Davis logged 4 blocks and 2 steals and Ryan Kilpatrick scored 15 points to lead Baltimore over a slumped Dover team. Jerry Malone scored 17 points and added 7 rebounds, his lowest total of the last 5 weeks thanks to Davis.
"If only Shaq could play point guard for when we play Hartford!" joked Baltimore's coach.
