That is one thing I wish was in this game. It's one of the features I love in College Football. You can edit conferences before starting a legacy, but it's just the not the same was getting a invite to join a larger conference after having success in a smaller one.

I realize it will never happen but I really do hope someday they will make another college hoops with updated conferences and the ability to change them at the end of each year of your legacy.

BEARS EXTEND STREAK IN TOP-25 BATTLE!!!

      #25 (7-1) VS #12 (7-1)

It was standing room only in Butler-Hancock as 4500+ fans showed up for this Top-25 showdown and the Bear's didn't disappoint.. UNC dominated the 1st half led by PG T. Sylia scoring 11 pts on 3/5 3pt shooting as Northern Colorado took a (47-33) lead into the half.

BYU however showed why they are the #12 team in the nation and proved they too have a high powered offense as the Cougars score 53 points in the 2nd half and at one point led by as much as 8 points. Despite trailing with 3 minutes to play, Coach Deuce wouldn't let his team give up. With the 3 ball not dropping (1/9) the Bears turned to their post game where they took advantage of their size as they mounted the comeback. With 13 seconds to play the game was tied (86-86), but the Cougars had the ball. Coach Deuce called a timeout and gave the instruction to foul on the inbound. BYU inbounded the ball to SR PG B Works (former 5* AA rated #21 Overall). Works had a team high 20 points but was just 4/9 from the line and UNC would foul putting him to the line again.

Works first F.T. would miss, the crowd went wild and then it happened, Works 2nd F.T. would clank iron. UNC would get the rebound but instead of forcing UNC to try and score, BYU would also foul, send SR A. Thompson to the line. Thompson was 10/13 from the line. He was the worst person to foul at that moment. Thompson however would miss his first F.T., the crowd just minutes ago producing 12th man type sound now was as quite as a mouse. Thompson was unshaken though and would nail the 2nd shot to give UNC the lead. BYU would have a chance to still win the game with 3.2 seconds to play but again Works comes up short.

      FINAL SCORE #25 UNC-87 #12 BYU-86

      KEY PLAYERS

      BYU- PG M. Works 20 pts 5 reb 9 assist, SG B. Crosswhite-19 pts 6 assists, PF D. Barnard-20 pts 5 reb

      UNC-PG T. Sylia 17 pts (3/5 3pt) C A. Thompson 19 pts 6 reb (11/15 FT) PF C. Atkinson-14 pts 5 reb 3 stls, 3 blks. C J. Esterkamp-10 pts (bench)

BEARS EXTEND WIN STREAK ON THE ROAD!!

UNC extended their the win streak to 9 games with (88-68) victory over the Wyoming Cowboy's. The win also marked the 5th victory over a opponent from the Mountain West Conference, leading many to wonder if UNC could compete year in and year out in one of the nation's major conferences.

        Coach Deuce
"It's to bad you don't see conference realignment like in college football because honestly I think we could be one of the top teams in the MW"
Cam Atkinson led the way for the Bears with yet another double double as he scored 24 pts and grabs 12 rebs. Freshman H. Shafer had his best game of the season adding 14 pts off the bench, well the backcourt duo of Sylia (12 pts 6 reb 7 ast) and Bray (10 pts) also had solid nights.

SR PG V. Owensworth led the Cowboys in the loss with 21 pts (5/9 3pt)

UP NEXT UNC TRAVELS TO THE D.G. SMITH SPECTRUM HOME OF THE UTAH STATE AGGIES FOR THE GOSSNER FOODS HOLIDAY CLASSIC.

Thanks. With this being my 3rd year with the same starters, my offense for the most part really clicks. Obviously when I play tougher opponents like Duke or UNC, they control the ball better then the likes of Wyoming or Colorado State.

Just like in real life a team like this should play well and hopefully make a deep run in the tournament.

Thanks for following and commenting. It's always nice to have people take the time to check out the thread.

BEARS ADD HARDWARE TO THE RESUME

The Northern Colorado Bears extended their win streak on the season to 11 games as they went on the road to win the Gossner Foods Classic tournament held in Logan Utah at Utah State University. The Bears are now (11-1) on the season.

In the Opening Round game vs UNC Greensboro, the Bears trailed by 1 pt at the half (31-30) but used solid defense in the 2nd half to pull out the double digit win. Final score N. Colorado-69 UNC Greensboro-56

The Bears then took on (7-2) Utah Valley State in the Championship, where they once again came from behind (trailed 40-38 at the half) by scoring 56 points in the 2nd half to once again win by double digits. Final score UNC-94 Utah Valley State-81

                  K. Conway led the team with 19 pts 5 reb 7 assists hitting 3/3 from 3pt well C. Atkinson (17 pts) and A. Thompson (16 pts) dominated the post.

BEAR'S CLOSE OUT NON-CONFERENCE IN STYLE!!

The Streak is alive... Northern Colorado extended their home winning streak to 12 games dating back to last season and have won 12 straight this year since their Game 1 loss to North Carolina, with a (87-77) win over the Colorado Buff's. This also marks the 4th straight year that UNC has taken down their instate rival from the Big 12.

With the victory, UNC will go into Big Sky play ranked as the #14 team in the nation after moving up from #25 to #18 (Media Poll). The Bears (12-1) record also has the nation's coaches taking notice as UNC is now #20 in that poll as well as landing #1 in the nation's Mid-Major Poll.

With a 2-1 record against Top-25, a 4-1 road record and a 8 game home winning streak on the season the Bears current RPI stands at #1 in the nation.

UNC currently is 7th in the nation in scoring (84.2 PPG), well their .457 FG% ranks #9 nationally.

ATKINSON LOOKS TO CLOSE OUT CAREER WITH MORE HARDWARE!!

When 4* PF Cam Atkinson (former #92 Overall/#20 PF) received no scholarship offers from schools from the Pac-10, Mountain West, WCC or even the WAC conferences, a large chip grew on his shoulder.

Some scouts felt like he was undersized (6'7 219 lbs) to play PF, well others said his outside game wasn't good enough to play at the 3. But for Coach Deuce none of that matter. What he saw was a player who could excel in his offense and he made a promise that if Atkinson became a Bear he would leave Greeley as one of the school's best. So far both have lived up to that promise.

Well Atkinson's #'s are not as good as his Sophomore season (18.3 PPG, 9.4 RPG, 1.4 SPG, 2.0 BPG) when he won his 1st Big Sky POY honors, they are still pretty solid. He currently leads the team in scoring at 17.8 PPG well adding 6.5 RPG, 1.6 SPG and 1.4 BPG. He has made 48% FG this season well also hitting 80% from the F.T. (84/105) and if he can keep up his current #'s he should easily win this 3rd Big Sky POY.

Add Belmont to the list of schools to watch out for come March Madness. The Bruins stayed undefeated beating Georgia, Liberty and Coastal Carolina all on the road and are picked to dominate in A-Sun play.

How about Boise State!!! The Broncos under the leadership of former Gonzaga assistant Leon Rice, made the NCAA tournament last season going 19-11. This season they schedule a rare home/away series with the Zags losing at home to open the year (70-64) and then lost in Spokane (64-59) but other then that they own a perfect 10-0 record this season including a Hawaiian Island Classic tournament championship.

Just getting some revenge for them beating Boise State in real life and making BSU one of the last 4 in. At least Wyoming won the championship and get to go dancing as well.

However I am sad, that Boise wasn't able to land in either the Seattle or Portland regional. I would've been down for a road trip to either one to watch them play. Still tempted to try and get tickets to watch Gonzaga in Seattle but because of that pairing, tickets will be at a premium.

I decided to go to the end of Big Sky play and hit sim and let me tell you I couldn't have asked for a better story to write/share about. So be on the lookout for a pretty amazing recap...
