Thanks. I was surprised at how big of a lead I was able to build in the 1st half but I am glad I did after they made that run. Hopefully I can ride this big win and make it to the Final 4. The Badgers are good (92 Overall, 91 Offense, 95 Defense 94 Shooting, 91 Rebounding and have a 98 Coach). They hit 38% from 3pt this season. Only advantage I have going in is my 87 PPG average vs their 77 PPG average and I have a size advantage as the bulk of their scores are 6'5 and smaller. In fact they only have 1 player taller then 6'8 on their roster.

yeah good luck, it'll definitely be tough. I'm getting ready to start a player lock dynasty with Northern Colorado so I'm hoping I can get the same success as you lol... btw what sliders do you use and how long are your halves?

                BEAR ADVANCE TO FINAL 4!!!

With a 88-74 victory over #3 Wisconsin in the Elite 8, the Northern Colorado Bears extended their season winning streak to 34 games. Led by W.M. Brady's 18 pts (3/4 3pt) and a combined 30 point effort from Cam Atkinson (14) and N. Forte (16) the Bears dominated the smaller Badger lineup leading (43-34) at the half and then again outscoring their opponent in the 2nd half (45-40)

                Coach Deuce
"I thought we played exactly how we needed to in order to win this game. We got some of the best players in early foul issues, took advantage of our size inside and in return it opened up some big shots from beyond the arc (7/12 3pt). However it's going to take even more if we have a shot to beat Tennessee"
With the victory, UNC moves to a the school's first ever Final 4 appearance where they will take on #1 Tennessee. The Vol's defeated #2 Oklahoma State (71-59) to make their 2nd trip to the Final 4 in 3 years as they will look to win yet another National Title.

The winner of the game will face the winner of #2 Michigan State vs #4 Kentucky for the Title. The Spartans defeated #5 UConn (93-80) well the Wildcats took care of #2 Oregon (79-72)

                  BATTLE TO THE BUZZER!!

                  THE OPPONENT
2 year ago the Tennessee Vol's won the National Title behind a very senior heavy led team. Then with a roster of 5 Freshman Tennessee and 3 Soph's the team went 21-12 the next season in a rebuilding year.

Now led by JR SG A. Gibson (93 OVR, averaging 19. 3 PPG), 6'8 JR SF W. Dunn (89 Ovr, 11.4 PPG), SR PF J. Long (85 Ovr, 18.3 PPG) and FR PG T. King (Last year's #1 Overall/#1 PG, 5* AA Mr BB FL, 85 Ovr) the Vol's are ready to show the nation they are not just a one year wonder but a emerging basketball powerhouse/dynasty.

                  THE GAME

Despite early foul trouble by N. Forte and just (8) 1st half points by Cam Atkinson, the Bears would go into the locker room down by just 1 point at the half (36-35) in front of a sold-out crown in Staples Arena.

Could a small school from the Big Sky conference under 5th year Head Coach Ryan "The Deuce" Dezaron, really knock off a power program from the SEC and play in the National Championship?

Well let me tell you the Bears never had a doubt and never gave up until the clock hit zero. Tied 75-75 with less then a minute to play, the Vol's did what everyone expected. They worked the ball around for as long as possible before Freshman PG T. King drills a 3pt with 6.8 seconds to play to give his team the lead. The 3 ball was just 1 of 3 out 16 made by the Vol's all game.

Down (78-75), UNC still had a chance to tie the game. The Bears were 7/14 from downtown when they inbounded the ball to JR PG T. Sylia who race up court before calling the timeout, with 3.9 seconds to play. Coach Deuce drew up the play, the screen was set and Brady got the open look, but instead of sending this game to overtime, the shot would rim in and out... Final Score Vols-78 Bears-75

Game over. Season over... 34 game win streak over..

Re: Following in the footsteps of a Legend (CH2k8)

With a (86-73) win over #2 Michigan State, the Kentucky Wildcats set up a rematch with SEC rival Tennessee in the National Title game. Having split the regular season matchup's (UK beat Tennessee at home 87-77, then lost 85-84 on the road), their was no favorite.

But in the end it was Kentucky coming out on top (77-67) to win their 8th National Title in school history...

(Interesting that in my dynasty the year is 2012, and the Wildcats did indeed win the 8th National Title that year)

                      COACH DEUCE SAY'S GOODBYE!!

After leading the Northern Colorado Bears in a season that will live in NCAA history books for year's with a (34-2 record) with 34 straight wins that ended in a Final 4, the 30 yr old Head Coach is moving on.

In 5 season at the helm Coach Deuce compiled a 121-40 record with 4 straight seasons of 20+ wins and 4 straight trips to the NCAA tournament. He leaves the Big Sky Conference having been named the Conference Coach of the Year for 3 straight seasons.

                      Coach Deuce is now a B+ Overall, a A- Offense, C+ Defense, C+ Teacher, A- Scout, A Charisma/Recruiter and has a C+ in Discipline.

                      Coach Deuce
"It was tough to say goodbye. I am leaving behind a team that I believe is actually better then the one I coached this season. I can't say enough about SR Cam Atkinson (won his 3rd straight Big SKY POY) and Center Aron Thompson, but we have a great class last season (#12 Overall) and have already secured 3 commitments from 3 very good players this season. However over the past 3 years I have receive some very good offers from some great Mid-major programs and now with schools from power conference's calling, I just couldn't say no".

The last time Oregon State has played in a Final 4, Coach Deuce wasn't even born yet (1963). The last time they played in a NCAA tournament he was in a freshman in high school (1990, real life, fake Coach Deuce would've been just 8).

With the announcement of a 2-year contract Coach Ryne "The Deuce" Dezaron is taking over the Beavers who are coming off a season in which they won just 8 games!!, going 8-23 Overall. Just 3 of those 8 win's came in the Pa-10 where they finished dead last (3-15).

With 3 starters graduating including the team's leading score (H. Fontent-10.5 PPG), Coach Deuce's statement was
"Let the Rebuilding of the Dam Start Now!!"

                            OSU LANDS 5* AA PG!!!

The last time Oregon State had a 5* All-American PG on it's roster the Year was 1990 and his name was Gary "The Glove" Payton who graced the cover of SI.

Today, Coach Dezaron II with his only scholarship still available lands the next OSU great. Just like he did when he signed 4* Top-100 Cam Atkinson to a scholarship at UNC, Coach Deuce went looking for the best possible player still uncommitted in Week 1 of the off-season recruiting.

5* AA Ridley Spears stands 5'11 and weighs 160 lbs. He was named Hawaii's Mr BB and despite not playing in the ABL showcase, he was rated #12 Overall in this year's recruiting class by 2K Scouts Inc and was considered the #9th Best PG in the class.

                            Coach Deuce
"Honestly I don't know why nobody else wasn't going hard after Ridley. Yeah he isn't considered a scoring style guard but this kid plays great "D" and I believe his offense has room to grow. He very well could be a Glove 2.0.. USC did make a late push, but by then we had it all wrapped up. He wanted to stay close to home, get Playing time right away and wanted to feel wanted. Those were 3 things we could easily offer"

Yeah it was sad to see it end, but to be honest a part of me is glad it did. It would've been fun to win a NC, but had I done it there was no way I could leave UNC with the win streak in play and 3 of my starters 7 of my 10 guy's and 5 very good incoming recruits/redshirts to play with. Because I lost it was much easier to leave especially with the chance to leave the Big Sky behind for a opportunity to play in the Pac-10.

Coach Few left Gonzaga for Syracuse the #1 vacancy. OSU was #2 and had me #1. Temple, Houston, UTEP, and of course Gonzaga were all options but no way I could turn down a power conference for a major/mid major. It's going to be alot of work rebuilding the Beavers but as you can see I already started with exciting player and I look forward to seeing what I can do moving forward. Recruiting in Oregon isn't much better then it was in Northern Colorado, because most of the 4* and all of the 5* guy's have the top schools of the Pac-10 recruiting them, so it looks like I will most likely build my team around 3* guy's who will stick around and play all 4 years for me.
