Dwight Howard Feeling At Home
Dwight Howard was born in Atlanta, Georgia and many had speculated that he would end up making his homecoming this past offseason. Dwight Howard now an Atlanta Hawk, looks to be the most comfortable that he has been in the past 5 years.
His Hawks currently sitting at 1-2 to start the season, are still solidifying their approach just as every other team is doing early on in this season. Howard is looking more healthy and and is giving more effort than we have seen in year's past.
"The Hawks may not be the best team in the Eastern Conference anymore, but they are still very good with a lot of good pieces on the roster," said J.A. Adande.
That being said, Howard provides the Hawks a solid defensive anchor that they have been missing over the past few seasons a low post threat to partner with Millsap's evolving elite offense at the four spot. If Howard remains healthy and finds any consistency on the offensive end, he would give Atlanta a lethal starting frontcourt which could be enough to rival other NBA powerhouses.
After all a happy Howard = sad opposing lineups and Atlanta in spite of the departures of Teague & Horford may have what they need to bring in that [one more] star that Atlanta needs to put Howard in the hunt with his hometown team.Last edited by ronyell; 05-30-2016, 11:23 PM.Comment

Way Early Rookie Ladder Watch
The NBA's newest rookie class is off to a interesting start.
This is a very early rookie ladder update especially since each player have only played 3 games we have to acknowledge the early outings these rookies have surprised us with. Each of the top four picks from the 2016 draft has shown strong outings, with the 1st overall selection Che' King and the 3rd overall selection Jabbar Wilson sustaining a strong consistent play in this early start. In fact, quite a few lottery picks has acquitted himself well in the early going. The 5th pick Rayshaud Hill and 6th pick Kiante Oakman would've gotten strong consideration if not for early injuries. Hill had an strong debut in a loss on the road against the Clippers having a 13 point, 5 rebound, and 3 assist outing shooting 50% from the field (5/10) before going down the next game with right knee tendinitis, out 4-6 weeks. Oakman had a solid first game too having a 10 point and 3 steal outing shooting 50% from the field (4/8) in a loss at home versus the Rockets before also going down the next game, out 2-4 weeks with a sprained left knee.
