So prob have to trade Wiggins or Brown and get great value for either.
Towns is incredible and I agree that he is on a superstar path in the league. I love using him in the game. I think there's little doubt that Wiggins is the second superstar on the team. He's great defensively and still a player that can put up 20-5-5.

LaVine and Muhammad have to take the offensive pressure off Wiggins. So far, Muhammad has been great starting next to Wiggins. LaVine gives the bench a nice ball handler and he can play some starter minutes as well. I like the rotation right now.

You're right, someone will have to move. Probably at the trade deadline.

Haha I had to add a little personality to the twitter feed. He is a confident kid, so I thought it matched.

Sorry for the delay in updates. Work has been really busy and I was on the road for a while. I'm back and will update soon.

If you've noticed, I'm doing a week of games (Sunday to Saturday) at a time.

Shabazz Needs Surgery, Out 6-8 Weeks
                          November 20, 2016

Shabazz Muhammad was injured Wednesday night in a game against the Washington Wizards. Muhammad had scored in double digits in 11 of the team’s first 12 games. Including the game against the Wizards, Muhammad had started every game and clearly was playing with a chip on his shoulder. After off-season speculation about his relationship with Coach Thibodeau, Muhammad played his way onto the floor and was contributing thus far in a big way.

In what should have been a meaningless defensive series late in Wednesday night’s game, Muhammad went up to defend a shot and awkwardly fell on his left wrist. Wincing in pain, Muhammad was taken out of the game. The team returned home for a game on Friday; allowing Shabazz to see team doctors on Friday and a specialist on Saturday.

The doctors concluded that Muhammad ruptured his extensor carpi ulnaris, requiring immediate surgery. A similar injury many NBA players have dealt with (including Iman Shumpert), it’s expected that Muhammad will miss 6 to 8 weeks.

Muhammad had previously dealt with a left hand injury during the middle of his rookie season. At that time, he had torn a ligament in his hand and required surgery to repair it. As a left-handed player, the team is expected to bring him back slowly.

A tough loss for the Timberwolves, who have started this season as one of the surprise teams in the association. They will miss Shabazz on the offensive end, where he is second on the team in scoring (averaging 15 points per game). The injury means a shake-up in the rotation on the wings, and an opening for Zach LaVine. LaVine now has an opportunity to start in place of Muhammad.

LaVine started his first game of the season against Detroit, in Muhammad’s absence. His minutes remained consistent, so it’s likely the bench will have to pick up for the minutes with Shabazz out. This means a chance for rookie Jaylen Brown to earn a larger role, including some minutes next to Andrew Wiggins. Thus far, Brown has come off the bench for Wiggins in most situations.

The team also has an open roster spot, after leaving Muhammad as a ‘DNP’ in Friday night’s contest. The Wolves have worked out two D-League wing players, Daniel Hamilton and Michael Frazier. Both players are currently with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, and would give the team’s bench unit a needed scorer as well.

Shabazz Muhammad was starting to prove his doubters wrong. In twelve games, he was proving he had earned a spot on Thib’s team. His return from another injury to his shooting hand will be crucial, but it also allows Zach LaVine a tryout with the starting unit. This stretch without Shabazz could be critical as the front office and coaching staff assess the team’s core.

Sucks that Shabazz got injured but TWolves got good wings so you should be fine. Nice that Rubio got career high in points, if Pretty Ricky can score than he really becomes a dangerous PG for you to utilize.

Hardly see Wiggins break 20 points in your games but as long hes doing his work on defense, I guess his scoring doesnt matter too much.

Yeah, it's a tough injury this early in the season. But it gives me a chance to mess with Rubio and LaVine together. You're right about Rubio, he's really dangerous when he's a threat to score.

Wiggins is a really good defender and awesome in transition. He has an extra gear, so I can easily score some transition buckets with him. Or when there's a switch and he's put onto someone slower.

The issue right now is using him in the half-court. Wiggins is the end of a lot of plays, and I'm not quite sure how to use him. So I take some bad long 2's or try to draw a foul on my way up. Still, just a great player.
