    BREAKING NEWS
The Los Angeles Lakers have acquired cheap big man DeMarcus Cousins from the Phoenix Suns in exchange for Kyle Kuzma and a 2024 1st.

The Suns have freed up time at Center and gained a starting PF along with a 1st while the Lakers have gained a cheap amazing center to help them make a push for the playoffs as they currently sit at 19th in the league.

Cousins will be playing beside the legendary LeBron James, Klay Thompson, Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram.

                  Jan 1st Update

                  Trades:

Pistons trade: Memanja Bjelica, PF / 2021 2nd (Lakers)
                  76ers trade: Meyers Leonard, C
Notes: Leonard was signed in the off season by the 76ers. He has $1.98M this year and a team option for $2.08M next year. With Embiid getting most minutes and McGee getting the rest, Leonard just didnt fit in. Leonard is expected to play backup C. The Pistons have sent over Pf Bjelica which people say was just for a disgruntled player. They have also sent a 2nd round pick.

Grizzlies trade: Kyle Anderson, SF / 2022 2nd
                  Pacers trade: Doug McDermott, SF
The Grizzlies have upgraded their SF by taking on expiring McDermott. He has recently been linked to wanting to sign an extension. Anderson is a good player, but comes with $19M for 2 years. He will most likely be slotted bhind Middleton

                  Rumors
Kevin Porter Jr has asked the Thunder to deal him.
The Rockets are shopping Kenneth Faried

Re: The New NBA | What If Edition

                    Feb 1st Trades:

Nuggets trade: Bryn Forbes, SG / Dairis Bertans, SG
Thunder trade: Terrance Ferguson, SG / Brook Lopez, C
The Thunder wanted Forbes badly. They have acquired him and took Bertans. The Nuggets have boosted their depth at SG and C. This was a win win for both teams.

76ers trade: JaVale McGee, C / Georgios Kalaitzkis, SG
Bucks trade: Reggie Jackson, PG / Ekpe Udoh, C
                    - Reggie has officially been flipped. After acquiring him, the Bucks have flipped him and Udoh as a throw in for roster space. The Bucks realized they had a log jam at PG, so this will get rid tons of pressure. The Bucks have actually helped out the 76ers center problem and acquired a new starting C at the same time.

                    Raptors trade: Yogi Ferrell, PG
                    Heat trade: Tomas Satoransky, PG
                    - The Raptors pick up an expiring PG contract to play off the bench, while the Heat gain a 3rd string for dirt cheap.

Wizards trade: Nigel Hayes, PF / Sam Dekker, PF
Thunder trade: Rudy Gay, PF / Hamidou Diallo, SG
                    - Gay adds the shooting Washington needs to win. They also bring in a young talented SG. Hayes will get the starting spot for the Thunder, while Dekker will come off the bench.

Pelicans trade: Fred VanVleet, PG / 2024 1st
Warriors trade: Seth Curry, PG / J.J Redick, SG
                    - The wrong Curry! Warriors are shedding the old guys and trying to rebuild. Both Seth and Redick are expiring, but will fill in the backup void. VanVleet has 3 years left on his contract, but bring youth to the team. They may be looking to replace Stephen Curry and get VanVleet to fill his spot sooner than later.

                    Pacers trade: Darren Collison, PG
                    Mavericks trade: Kostas Antetokounmpo, PF
                    - This trade is a well planned out one. The Pacers have acquired a backup young PF to back up leaf, while shedding $18M contract of aging Darren Collison. The Mavericks acquire a 3rd string PG. He may be flipped in the near future.

                    Wizards trade: Bobby Ports, C
                    Hawks trade: Alex Len, C / 2023 1st (top 3 protected)
                    - This was an odd trade. The Wizards are in a winning position, but trade their #1 C. I suppose the only way that the Wizards would absorb Lens $31.9M 3 year contract was by also acquiring a 1st. Portis on the other hand has $20M over 2 years. He is also younger. I guess the move was made to slowly get younger on the Hawks. I wonder what this means for Marc Gasol on the Hawks.

Trail Blazers trade: Jae Crowder, PF / Cristiano Felicio, C
Heat trade: Kelly Olynyk, PF / Georges Niang, SF
                    - The only way that the Heat could get rid of Olynyks contract was to toss in a SF. Olynyk will be a starting PF for Portland for some time to come. Niang will be on the bench for now!. Jae Crowder is a downgrade for PF for the Heat, but they feel that they gained by acquiring a backup C for Adebayo, who may be leaving next year.

                    Jazz trade: JaMychal Green, PF
                    Kings trade: T.J. McConnell, PG
                    - The only way that the Jazz would give up JaMychal was for backup PG. The Kings saw the opportunity and grabbed it. They acquired JaMychal Green to improve their PF now that Bagley and Wiseman is out for the season.

                    Pistons trade: Reggie Jackson, PG
                    Bucks trade: Tony Snelll, SF
                    - The trade was due to the fact that Jackson wasn't going to get much playing time. The Pistons also needed to improve their SF position. Jackson will be backing up PG Eric Bledsoe in Milwaukee

                                BREAKING NEWS

The New Orleans Pelicans have agreed to a deal. They have agreed to send Center Anthony Davis, a 222 1st Round Pick (Lottery Protected) and a 2025 2nd round pick to the Los Angeles Lakes for Jaxson Hayes (2nd pick in 2019) and LeBron James.

The Pelicans have gained an upgrade at SF and instantly made them a competitor with LeBron, and Hayes can fill the void which Davis leaves. They also ship out their Lottery Protected pick. They may make a move in the near future to get that starting center back.

The Lakers have gained an enormous center who instantly buffs up their D, and a 1st and 2nd round pick. With aging LeBron gone, Ingram can step into the spotlight and fill the SF role, while Thompson fills the SG role.
