Tovarich: Another subpar performance. Outside shots were brutal. Luckily the big guys were all pretty dominant, at scoring anyway. Rebounding left something to be desired as usual. Without that barrage of turnovers in the 2nd half there, that might have been a different outcome.

Reporter: What was the defensive plan in the 2nd half?

Tovarich: Just double team anyone who looks like they can shoot a 3. They finally cooled off late, but they were already 6/12 at halftime and then came out and made their first three after halftime too. I couldn't watch any more of it, so we doubled every guard and we got a few turnovers there off the deflections, and that allowed us to have 11 extra shots in the game, which was a big difference

Reporter: You seemed irritated with the refs.

Tovarich: A 10-1 foul disparity is irritating for anyone.

Reporter: 25 days until Selection Sunday and you have just one game coming up in a week and a half. What do you work on during all this down time?

Tovarich: I've got a lot of recruiting visits to make. We don't have the best history in these Senior Day home games to end the season, so hopefully we do better in the actual game, even if it has no meaning beyond it being for the Seniors.

*I can't see how to respond to the comments, it doesn't seem possible, but I just noticed the America East is the "Metro Atlantic" which bumps the America East schools for small to mid. I'm usually careful not to do that during my conference planning, but I apparently missed that one.

Tovarich: There isn't a whole lot to criticize there.

Reporter: But would you like to anyway?

Tovarich: I'm so excited about Wilkins' triple-double that I won't even do it today.

Reporter: SEMO coach complained about your tactics there at the end of the game.

Tovarich: Well, obviously this game was about our SR's, so it's pretty lame he would try to make it about him. The intentional fouling 5 times in the last 10 seconds to get the ball back and give Wilkins an opportunity to get that 10th assist was unusual, for sure, but definitely worth it. Farley did a great job hitting the jumper at the buzzer. If SEMO coach wants to use it as motivation in some future matchup, he's more than welcome to try if he really think it'll make any difference for him.

Reporter: With a long wait for Selection Sunday and this team's regular season over, what do you expect next year's lineup to look like?

Tovarich: Hale is obviously our PG. I expect Crawford the backup is likely going to transfer. We'll need a backup there. Dillard is an option. I'm not sure what to do with him. He's odd in that he's a 6'8" SG, but he has no real outside shooting skills. He has no interior skills either. He's probably a really good mid-range jump shooter, and I don't have a lot of interest in those. By all accounts, he's rated as a really good player, but it doesn't seem to translate into productivity, and by productivity, of course I mean, scoring. We have Pippen RS'ing this year and he's an awesome 3-point shooter, so despite what the ratings say, he's our SG next year. Dillard could be his backup too possibly. Luz, our backup SF is a SR, so we just have Crandle. I need a backup there. That's another option for Dillard to back up. We're set with the bigs. We lost Wilkins, but we have Carbaugh, then Riley is RS'ing this year. We have 2 solid C's. We're mainly aiming for some depth with the 4 scholarships, probably 5 with Crawford leaving. We're finally at the point where I have the depth to utilize the redshirting, so there should be no more rebuilding.
