Only bad thing about drafting rookie QB's: they tend to play like rookies.

I agree, it's much different then how I play.

However, although you play the games, it's surprising how well you do with the talent you have (especially on offense and the 1st year).

3 more games done...all I need is some time to write them up. My passing game is killing me! At this pace we'll have 40+ interceptions this season.

Just read through all of this thread, great read.

The sack numbers were absolutely ridiculous that first year, over 100 as a team. *** ****.

Your running game is really effective, personally I've never managed to get even close to those kind of numbers.

                  all regular season games played

                  all preseason simmed

altered the sliders to help reduce the crazy sack numbers from year 1...still get a lot, but i blitz on almost every play

The fans have to be asking, "Is there a QB in Oakland?"

Interceptions and fumbles derail the Raiders until the final minute of the game. Then the Raiders put together a drive that reminds their fans of the Super Bowl team of last year. HB Justin Fargas caps it with a 3yd TD run on the pitch play. Then coach Joslin keeps the team out there...they are going for the win with less than 2 seconds left. If they make the 2pt conversion, they win. If they fail...it's over and they lose their 3rd straight.

HB Jameel Keddington gets the ball and takes it outside, he rolls off a defensive back and goes inside, diving for the goal line. He is in! The Raiders win!

The Raiders have to be happy with the win, but they also have to be wondering how to end the torture that is their QB play. So far the Raiders QB's have thrown an amazing 28 INTs (20 by rookie Brett Cardinal and 8 by Ken Dorsey) What makes this even more woeful is they have only thrown for 2 TDs! Neither QB has a QB rating above 40!

Oakland Trades For Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers!

With the trade deadline looming, and no sign of improvement in the QB play for the Raiders, something had to be done.

GM Al Davis looked around and after talking with the Bills about QB Trent Edwards and Green Bay about QB Aaron Rodgers. Bills QB Trent Edwards is the Bills 3rd stringer after losing his job to FA QB Joey Harrington and rookie QB Clarence Bowman. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers played behind QB Brett Favre and then lost the starting job in training camp to QB Brian Brohm. He fell further down the depth chart to be QB4 behind rookie Cashmere Clement and journeyman Gus Frerotte.

                            Career Stats

QB Trent Edwards 270/500 for 3249yds 19 TDS 25 INTs

QB Aaron Rodgers 36/60 for 334yds TD, INT

GM Al Davis after consulting with HC Joslin decided that Rodgers was the QB most likely to right the floundering ship.

The Raiders send 5th and 6th round picks in 2012 for QB Rodgers.

QB Rodgers has been giving the starting job and will be backed up by QB Ken Dorsey. Rookie Brett Cardinal will move down the QB3, where the Raiders hope with some seasoning he will mature into the QB they thought he could be.

Dorsey's signed long term isn't he? Any chance you can move him in a trade?

Dorsey is signed to a 5year deal, but no one is interested in him...at least not currently.

We might try to move him in the offseason to get out from under his salary.
