New Jersey Nets (ESPN NBA 2K5)

Eh, as much as I love the Pistons.....I want an EXCITING team to play with. To that end...

    Preseason News

Before the season has even begun, the Nets have improved their weakened frontcourt.

With the loss of Kenyon Martin to Denver, the Nets needed a strong, athletic man up front, and they found their man, trading veteran Clifford Robinson to the Memphis Grizzlies for the young C/PF, Stromile Swift.

Swift will start at Power Forward, while the newly acquired veteran Dikembe Mutombo will start at Center after being acquired from Houston for Nenad Krstic.

In a final move, the Nets signed FA Point Guard Jay Williams. Williams hopes to return from the horrific motorcycle accident that threatened his career over a year ago. He will backup All-NBA Point Guard Jason Kidd.

        Holy ****.

You owned Shaq and Kidd almost had a triple double.
        Blind to this impending fate
We let the world carry our weight
It's back breaks with every mile
But we all live in denial

I guess I'm the only one around here that can stick with a team

Nets make move to strengthen bench

The Nets made a minor five-player trade early on Monday, sending Ron Mercer, Jason Collins and Zoran Planinic for PF Rodney Rogers and Chris Andersen. Rogers played for the Nets in the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons, averaging 7.4 PPG and 4.15 RPG. This season he is averaging 7.8 PPG and 4.4 RPG. He is expected to be a key contributor off the bench.

Huge 3rd quarter vs the Mavs.

Looking foward to the Rockets/Nets game.
