Maestro had only one friend, consequently it was Max Sharpe a kid with glaucoma so bad he couldn’t differentiate between whether Maestro was seven inches or seven feet tall, he just understood him to be a short kid who’s mom was overprotective.

Re: Not to small to play football: Maestro's Story

After his fabulous performance against the Bearcats Maestro learned a valuable lesson. Chick dig little cute things, and in Maestro's case he was about as small and cute as you could get. It took him two hours to get home from the post-game festivities because he was trashed off that drop of beer he had, and was covered form head to toe in lipgloss. The next morning poor Maestro had a splitting headache and was attired in grass and litter that ended up sticking to his lipgloss encoated little body on his pilgrimage home the evening prior.

College life was far more difficult to Maestro's virgin sense of pleasure and indulgence, than was the game of football. One of his teammates had left him the front page of the Miami herald. Emblazoned accross the top of the main story was "Bearcats never saw Maestro "Mighty Mouse" Murphy" coming.

Week two was a bye week for the 'Canes. Upcoming. Murphy and the boys head to Charlottesville to tangle with the Virginia Cavaliers to open up ACC play.

Re: Not to small to play football: Maestro's Story

The Miami Hurricanes may have found themselves too enamored in all the Maestro Mania, so much so that they almost blew a three touchdown lead to Virginia. Maestro had it tough early on fumbling the ball on the the first possession, and then being subject to an embarrassing moment when Kyle Wright forgot that his safety valve on a play was the seven inch tall Maestro and sent the ball sailing right over Maestro's head. It may not have been Maestro's day in on offense as he only managed sixty yards rushing, but on defense he really stepped his play up totaling seven tackles, three for a loss. Maestro's very best play on the evening would prove to be the final play of the game. Virginia was inside the Miami fifty facing a fourth and short. The score was 43-40 Miami with three seconds left on the clock and the secondary had been lit up all day long by the Virginia passing attack. It may have been an assinine playcall, and maybe they should have just called Dime Prevent, but hell Coach Pagnici just had this divine vision, and sent Williams and Maestro on the blitz out of the Nickel Thunder Green. There were wide open receivers everywhere, but just as it appeared Williams would be too late on his blitz, the Cavs QB tumbled to the ground. Maestro Murphy had just ended the game by recording his first career sack. Hollywood couldn't have written this one any better folks.

Maestro fumbles the ball on his first touch of the game and is almost squished by his own teammates as they recover.

Kyle Wright forgets about Maestro's *cough* disadvantage *cough* and tosses him the ball in the flat.

Maestro sacks the Virginia QB to end the game and seal a narrow three point victory for Miami.

Maestro is the man, looking forward to seeing how his career develops.

By the way, if there's ever a TV movie, I've got an idea for the title:

Small Ball: the Maestro Murphy Story

                      "Run Maestro, run!"

How many solo tackles did he have in the game where there were no finishing blows from teammates???

That last pic... it looks like Maestro just shoved the QB over.

And the CPU-generated name just makes it that much better.
Once upon a time, I had a lovely signature. Then it died. The end.

If you get a good run going towards the sidelines, do the leap over pile-on animation and see if he clears the pile-on.
