      Keys VS Falcons

1.) Michael Vick is a great QB. We have to make it a point to shut him down. Let's blitz him constantly.

2.) Patrick Kerney can make his entire defense better with the pressure he creates. We have to keep him blocked all day.

3.) We're going to have to keep Keith Brooking busy. I think we should run right at him, forcing him to make plays all game. Let's see if he tires.

      Key Matchups

      Michael Vick vs Panthers D
      Warrick Dunn vs Dan Morgan

          Panthers Dodge a Bullet
          Mike Vick Goes Down Early

Charlotte, NC- The Panthers, undefeated in the NFC South looked to stay undefeated against the electric Atlanta Falcons. The main focus was Michael Vick and containing him, Julius Peppers and Kris Jenkins were up to the challenge, late in the first quarter, Peppers and Jenkins sandwiched Mike Vick in the backfield and he injured his leg, he sat out the rest of the game. The #1 rushing team in the league still ran the ball extremely well with Warrick Dunn, but the defense stopped Atlanta when it was necessary. Keary Colbert had his second huge game in a row, he had 7 receptions for 113 yards and 3 touchdowns. Colbert has become Jake Delhomme favorite, and most reliable target. He has everything a WR should have, great hands, height, leaping ability, and great speed. DeShaun Foster had a great day rushing 21 times for 130 yards, but he was never able to get into the endzone. Rookie Thomas Davis led Carolina on D, with 5 tackles and an interception. Julius Peppers abused Matt Schaub, sacking him 3 times during the game. Carolina rolled in this one, 34-3.

1.) Make the big guy run. See how lively he is after chasing out backs all day. Anthony McFarland or not, he'll be tired.

2.) We need to take Simeon Rice out of the game. Play with his head with screens and draws.

3.) Derrick Brooks can take over a game. Let's hit him on every play that we can to wear him out.

                Panthers Crush Bucs
                Steve Smith Goes Down

Charlotte, NC- Carolina had beatened Tampa Bay a few weeks earlier and were not afraid of the Buccaneers. The Panthers dominated Tampa Bay throughout the game and had no trouble against them. DeShaun Foster started the game off with a 2 yard touchdown run. Keary Colbert continued his amazing streak with 10 receptions, 125 yards, and 3 touchdowns. He is now the center of attention, with Steve Smith partially tearing his PCL, he'll be out 9 weeks. Jake Delhomme was almost perfect, completing 26 passes on 34 attempts, with 3 TDs and one interception. Carolina shut down Michael Pittman for 43 yards on 14 carries.

                    Keys VS Saints

1.) Their HB, Deuce McAllister, is probably not going to play (High Ankle Sprain). That allows us to shut down the passing game.

2.) Jake Delhomme should be able to dominate their secondary. Keep them guessing all day.

3.) Our offensive line should overwhelm their defensive line. We're much more talented than they are and that should allow us to establish the run.

                      Saints Win in Shootout
                      Aaron Brooks torches Carolina Secondary

New Orleans, LA- The New Orlean Saints shocked Carolina at the Louisiana Superdome today with a great win over the Panthers. Carolina was favored in this matchup and it looked like they would win when DeShaun Foster scored first from 38 yards out. Aaron Brooks and Ernie Conwell hooked up twice in the 2nd quarter and went into halftime tied after DeShaun Foster ran in from a yard out. Carolina got an early field goal in the 2nd half but Aaron Brooks hooked up again for a touchdown, this time with Donte Stallworth who blazed past Bobby Taylor and outran the entire Panthers D 58 yards for the score. Foster struck once again in the 4th quarter and the Panthers were hoping for a defensive stop. Aaron Brooks and Joe Horn finally connected in the endzone with a 23 yard strike to go up by 4. Jake Delhomme and Keary Colbert connected on a 29 yard pass to bring Carolina up by 3 again. The Panthers were holding New Orleans in check for the rest of the game, but an unlikely target broke away from the Panthers D, Az-Zahir Hakim went 46 yards with under 10 seconds left to beat the Panthers by 4.

                          Keys VS Cowboys

1.) Obviously, our #1 concern is Julius Jones. We must shut him down in this game.

2.) La'Roi Glover figures to clog up the middle. Bounce some runs outside with a quicker back.

3.) Get the ball out quickly, Greg Ellis will be wrecking havoc on the line.

Well, I just started school this week, but I played the final two games of the season.

                            vs Cowboys, W 23-17 (OT)
                            @ Falcons, L 27-0 (Vick killed me)

I finished 12-4, the Eagles claimed Home Field Advantage.
