Figure I'll start a new one of these and attempt to keep it updated on here. I would post my NCAA 06 one, but I'm already into the second season and I don't have updated rosters.

The coach name is Samuel Adams, and I'm starting at Grambling.

The 1st half of last nights game was a boring one. Neither team could hit anything in the first 5-10 minutes. Grambling had it really bad, only scoring 10 points in the first 10 minutes of the half. They wound up capping it off with a 12-4 run in the last 3 minutes of the first half to even it out at 22 going into halftime. Brion Rush was a big part of the run after taking a break on the bench, he came back and made consecutive shots to get his only 5 points of the first half.

Houston came out strong in the 2nd. They jumped to a 5 point lead before Grambling even made a shot. Not to mention that the Tigers best player was taken out a minute into the half after picking up his 3rd foul. Without their star player in the game, Grambling started to slowly lose sight at a possible victory. In the five minutes that Rush was out, Houston jumped to a 40-32 lead. Houston took a lead as high as 11 points with around five minutes to go, before Rush drained a big 3-pointer, along with another basket by Anthony Williams, to bring the lead down to six points. For the next few minutes the lead ranged anywhere from three to nine. With the lead down to four, Houston stepped up and went on an 10-0 run, to bring the lead up to 13.

Tigers B***sh Past the Owls

Houston, TX - Six Flags Theme Parks should take not of the thrills generated by the pulse-pounding roller coaster ride provided by the Grambling State Tigers and the Owls of Rice. The 72-69 thrill-a-minute ride kept the entire audience in attendance captivated from the tip-off to the final buzzer, as the Tigers prevailed in a contest that their coach, Sam Adams, looking like he had spent the last week stuck on a ride called 'The Gag'n'Vomit.' The intensity of the effort in this seesaw battle was noteworthy and a testament to all the positive aspects of the college game.

There was an explosion last night in Houston that went unreported to city Fire and Police officials. Brion Rush erupted with a 47 point game that threatened to blow the lid off the Autry Court as his offensive fireworks fueled the Tigers attack and inspired his teammates to attempt to match his burning intensity in attacking the opposition's net. To say that he was on fire would be a ridiculous simplification, Rush was nuclear, he was the bomb, he was as hot as a heat wave.

Tigers Lose it in the End

College Station, TX - "While I give that team over in the other locker room credit for the win, that team isn't THAT much better than us," said an irate Coach Adams after his Tigers dropped a 77-56 decition. We should have gift wrapped that performance, because the way we played was a present to our opponents. Someone should have sung 'Happy Birthday' and brought a cake, because we were out there trying to have a ball rather than play some ball. Yes, this is a game, but it's only competitive when you're ready to fight to the bitter end like a lunatic."

The Tigers kept the lead to 7 points or less for the first seven or eight minutes of the first half. After Brion Rush was taken out for picking up his 3rd foul, everything fell apart. Texas A&M started off just making a couple of shots, increasing their lead to around ten with four minutes left. Brion Rush came back in, but it was too late. The Aggies scored 19 of the last 25 total points in the game.
