Court's in Session as Tigers Handcuff Bulldogs 83-71

Normal, AL - The Alabama A&M Bulldogs must be hoping today that their performance yesterday against the Grambling State Tigers represented their formative phase of development, because after getting royally housed by the Tigers 83-71, it's apparent that there could be a new bully on block. The Tigers acted like men among boys in roughing up their overmateched opponents. They smacked them around the court with an impressive physicality that left no doubt as to who was in control in all aspects of the game.

"What can you really say about a win like that?" asked Coach Adams after the big blowout.

"That was a case of everything going right for us and everything going wrong for them. At the end of the day, they aren't as bad as they looked and we probably aren't as amazing as we looked. We're still going to have to practice and get better, regardless of one lopsided win. Some things I did like was the way we defended and that a couple of our guys got a boost in confidence."

Grambling St. Obliterates Hornets 73-62

Montgomery, AL - It is said that in College Hoops, the difference between the winning programs and the losing one's can often be found in the quality of the coach at the helm. If this is indeed a truism, then the eminence of coaching at Grambling State as provided by Coach Adams must indeed be of a superior tenor. With his input, his Tigers rolled to an impressive 73-62 victory in play against the Alabama State Hornets, that virtually bordered on the implausible.

Adams' players were organized to near perfection, continually frustrating their foes with flawless execution and brilliant decision-making. The team was truly an extention of the coach's considerable hoops savvy and that was the resounding difference in their dominant play.

Grambling State Rocks as Jaguars Gets Rolled

Grambling, LA - The performance of the Grambling State Tigers last night was a fitting example of the merits of preperation. The Tigers seemed otherworldly in applying their well-conceived game plan, hanging a 86-55 beating of the Southern Jaguars that had the potential to be even more severe. The Tigers purposely took their feet off the gas pedal throughout the second half and coasted to their lopsided victory.
