whats up guys.

I figure since i have been getting a lot of views (1140+ WTF?) thats some people must be reading this. I will continue with my LIU/Louisville reports tomorrow but i want to let you guys know whats been taking up some of my time. I just got online on PS2 playing CB2k3 and am helping to run a CB2k3 League called the BIG 12:

we are currently looking for one responsible owner meaning: you will participate actively in the league/forums, follow our limited but fair rules, have AOL IM, and PS2 CB2k3 online capabilities,and do a good job on statistics.

If you fit these qualities and like what you see-there are similar legacy story type postings at the website (my ID there is umd also) and want to fill the last BIG 12 spot then IM "the Zello" he's in charge of new players.

we are also running a sister league at:

this will be run exactly the same as the BIG 12 league with 12 separate players. our hope is to expand so that the two leagues can play a postseason tournament like a playoff.

Connecticut Knocks Off Louisville Advances to Final:

AP Louisiana Superdome -- The consensus number one team in the nation Connecticut Huskies defeated the Louisville Cardinals in the first national semifinal 91-83. The Huskies got 23 points and 8 assists from star point guard Brian Sullivan, 15 points from small forward Darron Caton and 13 points and 16 rebounds from freshmen center Michael Cleeves to eliminate the Cardinals and advance to Monday night's final.

Louisville would not go away, led by graduating point guard Dameon Lane 24 points, and graduating Senior center Jud Dunn 18 points the Cardinals hung tight until UConn pulled away with under three minutes remaining. Junior Michael Jennings finished a strong Tournament with 18 points.

"I'm not suprised with how far we got. I think we have an excellent team that is a year ahead of where i expected us to be," said Louisville Cardinal Coach Brian Keller. "I think Dameon and Jud will make excellent pro's. Now we just need to focus on the off-season to get us to the next step. I'm looking forward to some of our key rising Freshmen and Juniors to fill the holes for thse two great players".

Said Lane, "I'm looking forward to whats ahead of me you know. You know, we had a great season you know, and you know Coach Keller is a great Coach. Hopefully, I'll be in the NBA next season with Jud".

That sucks you lost in the Final Four, hopefully you will get back there next year. Are you siming games in the season or playing them all?

I had played all/most of the games except for my last season at LIU because my team was too much better than most of the other NEC teams so i was winning very easily. I'll increase my strength of schedule and play most of the games this season.

that was a great year!!!!! congrats are you predicting a return to the final four with this team. and do you feel you will be staying in louisville for a while or will you take the larrybrown approach to coaching?????

Hey umd, great year man! Your legacy is by far the best on this site, it seems like real life or something. Just asking but after your first year at Louisville, did you get any job offers. I simmed my first year at UGA (second coaching job in career so far) and I didn't get any offers. Do you have to complete 3 seasons again? Thanks.

thanks everyone. Vinceanity i would say trade the milk for a nice tall guiness.

i havent gotten any offers and prob wont till after the third season. i still have to recruit for this offseason and will let you guys know how i do. im gonna beef up my schedule for next season also. like might set it at the highest difficulty and see how we do.

LIU and Louisville are dead! But Coack Keller is still around. He's moved on to the Kansas Jayhawks of the Big 14 NCAA 2k3 Ps2 Online League.


Keller Resigns from Louisville for "Bigger Stage"

AP-Louisville, Kentucky -- After taking the Louisville Cardinals to the Final Four Coach Brian Keller resigned yesterday. "I have decided that I cannot put in the required time at Louisville to return us to the Final Four. I will be taking over a program that is on a bigger, more exciting multiplayer stage. Towards the end of my time at Louisville i realized the one player stage was not big enough for me. I needed the challenge of other real live coaches to drive me to success. It is because of this that i will be Coaching the Kansas Jayhwaks in the Inaugural Season of the Big 14 PS2 CB2k3 Online League. Thanks for all my supporters and fans and i hope you follow my career at Kansas."

Coach Keller had three winning seasons at LIU taking the Blackbirds to 3 NCAA Tournaments and one Sweet Sixteen. In his first year at Louisville Keller won his 100th career game and took the Cardinals to the Final Four.
