    Game 2 - May 3rd, 6:40pm
    J. Schmidt(2-1, 1.42era) Vs O. Hernandez(2-1, 4.94era)

Bonds is able to smack career HR 712 in the Giants' Win.

Randy Winn and Eric Byrnes both went deep in the first inning for their respective teams, and then Schmidt and El-Duque took over the game, dueling back and forth in the epitome of a pitcher's duel. It wasn't until Barry Bonds stepped up in the top of the 6th and hit a 371 foot home-run, Barry's 4th of the season and #712 for his career to put the Giants up 2-1 that another run would score. Randy Winn would add his 2nd home run of the game, and ninth of the season, in the top of the 8th to seal the 3-1 victory for the Giants. Felipe Alou sent S. Munter out in the bottom of the 9th to close it out, as Benitez has been too unreliable lately, and Munter was able to close the game down.

    Game 3 - May 4th, 3:10pm
    M. Morris(2-3, 5.12era) Vs M. Batista(2-2, 2.51era)

Bonds drove in the game winning run for the 2nd straight game.

Coming off a very good start, Matt Morris was looking to get his season record back to .500 with a win. Jose Vizcaino, filling in for a tired Pedro Feliz at 3rd, was able to provide some offensive help in the top of the 2nd with his first home run of the season, the Giants would later add another run to give Morris a 2-0 lead heading into the bottom of the 7th. Morris allowed Shawn Green to reach on a single, and two pitches later left a curveball hanging and rookie Connor Jackson blasted it into the seats to tie the game at 2. It wouldn't stay that way for long, as Barry Bonds was able to hit the go-ahead RBI-single in the top of the 8th, and Munter would once again come in and close the door for the Giants, who took the series two games to one.

    Final - San Francisco 3, Arizona 1
    W- M. Morris(3-3)

      May 5th: Off-Day, Callaghan Update

San Francisco - The Giants currently lead the NL west by 2.0 games over the San Diego Padres, but Owner Greg Callaghan still isn't as pleased as he expected to be. "We have a very good team, but there are still some things I want to improve on," Callaghan said, quietly becoming the young version of Good-Ol' George, calling out players and such. "Our closers' role has been shaky and unreliable at best, which is why Armando Benitez has been pulled and is currently being shopped around. As you have seen, Munter will be getting the closing opportunities until we feel Valdez, on AAA-Fresno, is ready. Valdez is something like...14 for 14 on saves, with no earned runs given up in 13.2 innings, which is what we need up here...so that is a good sign."

Reports are that the Giants are still shopping Ray Durham, but have no added Armando Benitez to the list. Teams like the Red Sox, the Rangers, the Indians, the Reds, and a few others have all been contacted and have shown interest in Benitez.

"As far as the minor league situation," Callaghan continued. "I'm still looking to improve our farm-system, as it hasn't really been too impressive to me as we have it, so something needs to be done to improve that situation. I'm currently looking for a minor-league OF, SS and a starting pitcher to add to our system, which proves hard because some teams don't want to trade their better prospects unless they're getting a proven MLB player who isn't over 30, like we are offering. Steve Finley, however has drawn some interest, and we may have a few different deals lined up revolving around him to try and bolster two of those situations at once.

        May 5th: AAA-Ball Report

FRESNO - Armando Benitez was given the start in Fresno only a day after being optioned down to AAA. The team said they wanted to get him as many innings as possible to try and build up his confidence, and benitez was able to provide five strong innings in his first start in quite some time. Star prospect RP Valdez closed out the final four innings for his 16th save of the season. The team said they wanted to see Valdez in action, which was the reason behind him getting four innings of work.

        Benitez - W, 5 IP, 4 H, ER, K
        Valdez - S, 4 IP, 2 H, ER

Okay...not going to lie, I dislike the Giants a whole lot, so I'm going to end this...

didn't realize I disliked absolutely everyone, sans Bonds, on the team...I'll be starting over with a more liked team that I can actually get involved in.

          Thanks for reading

so yeah, I probably would've traded everyone but Bonds, Lowry and Cain away, lol.
