Nationals - Padres NLDS preview

The fianl of the division series is up and ready to be read. i have to admit that i sould have put in some other things in retrospect but oh well, like first round pitcher matchups for each team but oh well, cant remember everythibng all the time huh???

well next update will be opening game of the ALDS against the yankees. i promise you that i have not played any games and dont know any results of any of the series that i predicted the outcome of. they are as stated best guess estimates, that is all.

Wow, battle extreme... yankees giving me more of a fight than i thought they would in teh series so far... i guess i cant just look past them like i thought id be able too... wow... good game... and dont forget to check out the other first round games around the majors also..

Ok, either i start scoring runs to take pressure off of my pitchers or i go nuts... these close contests are more than my brain can take... well will there be any more surprises on the way in the first round or is everything all cut and dried... read and find out.

As we and the Nationals sit and wait and wonder whom our League Series opponents will be the four remaing teams (Mariners, White Sox, Dodgers and Cubs) all continue to determine who will advance and who will be going home...

Mariners - White Sox ALDS Game #5

This series went down to the wire, final game, who is the one that will face us in the ALCS for a shot to go to the World Series. Will it be the Division Rival Mariners, or the Central Division winning White Sox. I know whom i would rather face, but did my hopes and dreams come true or have i walked into a living nightmare upon i can only hope to survive?

four wins away from our second trip to the world series in as many seasons. can we get past our division rival Seattle and make it or is our fate doomed as a brides maid this season...

how about the NL, Will it be the cubs or will it be washington to take the NL title...

it is all started. what teams took game won, were there any upsets in the firt game of the championship series...

four wins down and seven to go entering into game two of the ALCS. could we in fact continue our unbeaten streak in the post season and win our fifth straight or would seattle come up and knock us around some before it is all said and done.. .

what about the NLCS? Did the Cubs in fact come back and tie that series at one a piece, or did the every surprising Nationals do it again and take a commanding 2-0 lead in the NLCS and possibly secure their passage into their first ever world series...

it is all here in black and white...

Here we are, just about at the half way point in the years League Championship series, and both series are run aways at this point entering game 3. With us leading the ALCS over Seattle 2-0 and the surprising Nationals leading the seemingly lifeless Cubs over in the NL 2-0 as well.

so as you can see two teams clearly look like the favorites so far. would anything change going forward in game three for any of the four remaining clubs??

hey gang, just wanted to tell you all that with every thing that is going on with my life and everyones around me here lately i still havent gotten around getting game four played...

found out today that my father will have to have quad by pass surgery in about ten days. tomorrow have to take my son to school to register him, go buy school supplies, get him a hair cut... so tomorrow is out until late in the day...

friday is house cleaning day due to every person in my family coming over for my birthday on saturday...

soooo sunday might be the first chance i get to play any baseball at all... again i will keep you all posted...

NLCS Game #5

Well, it is game five of the NLCS after the Cubs salvged game four and stayed alive for at least one more game. Could the Cubs come up big again and keep the series going or would the Nationals snatch the Series and their first ever World Series appearance?

Final Journl Entry before W.S. Game #1

i started out thinking this was going to be the write up for game one, well it ended up turing into a retrospecive of the season and how it all got to this. i thihk it turned out pretty good. sorry for those were expecting a world series game one write up, but by the time i got deep into it i realized hat if i was to write about the game it would have been oh three times as long as this turne out.

many of you wouldnt have minded but i decided to just go with this and then go ahead a do a seperate write up for the game itself.

World Series Game #1

It has begun ladies and gentleman, the 2006 World Series between the NL Champion Washington Nationals and my AL Champion Oakland A's is underway with game one. for any of those taht were wondering how the nationals got here, have no fear after playing jus one game against them i know how...

2006 World Series Game #2

two games in their park done, now it is time to come home and see if the home cooking and fans can give us a boost. im getting very tired of these pesky nat's they just dont lay down on command... i tink it is time to exstinguish their life... in our yard as soon as possible.
