Oakland A's Winter Meeting Report

the final phase of my off season is now complete. my report on our teams dealings at the winter meetings. for the first time ever i did something in this article that ive never done before to add some depth too it... see if you can see what it is...

this is not for the attention span challenged... this is a very long and drawn out piece. well at least it is to me.. lol... anyway enjoy and there will be more on the way.. now i just hav to start to get to work on all other 29 team rosters...

Really good write up on your winter meeting. Two surprises for me though. Tony Womack did way better than i thought he would be and the other was A.J.. Disappointed in his contribution. Good work.

Womack has been a great pick up for me for the most part... a.j was more than a huge disappointment and was one of the players that i attempted to move during that time... but no takers... so im stuck with him as my back up for at least one more year.. he and kendall are both fa's after 07 so i may let them both go and try to go after mauer from the twins... younger and much cheapter..unless i can get kendall back at a home town discount.

hello gang, fans of all ages, im here to tell you that no i havnet gone away or got another cause of the burn outs or anything just taking my time getting stuff out so that i DONT get burn out again.

all i have to do at this point is still start getting all other 29 team rosters set, get my spring training standings tables going, and once i get those done i will then post something on my page.

just wanted to keep you all posted on what is going on so that you all didnt think i ran off or anything...

ok creeping closer and closer to getting ready to start my THIRD season of mvp 05 the 2007 season. ive done one roster (angels) and have completed my side bar for the spring training launch if any of you want to take a look at my new and improved side bar.

well that is it... 28 more team rosters to do before im done and ready to do my spring training. i will be doing my divison preivews before i start spring training so the faster i go on these rosters the quick i can start to get playing under new set of sliders for spring training and see how i do.

just thought i would give youu all an update of the progress

Well it has been a long time coming but the first of six divsion previews has arried... ther is a small right up but nothing mind blowing, more of a get to know the team rosters than anything... hope you all enjoy...

as i get each divsision complete there will be more of these gems to come..

It just keeps on rolling on, first we had the AL Central, then the NL East, now it is time to unviel the 2007 NL West preview complete with rosters for all five teams so that all you fans of said teams can see how your teams look for the upcoming season.

Ok sorry if some of you feel that im rushing but the sooner i get this out the sooner i can work on getting the final four rosters for the final two divisions done and ready to rock.

i know you are all as excited about me getting this over with and started with st games. as am i of course, so donto worry by the time you are all sitting down a week from tonight in front of your tv's for the first monday night football game of the year i will be playing spring training games with my new set of PRO level sliders...

Hey just one more after this and im donoe and ready to launch into spring training games. im of course saving the best for last our division preview... then after that final division preview it will be tiem to test out my new harder pro slider set to see if maybe i can spend more than just a few days in second place this seaosn.

as soon as i get the AL West write up done it will be going up, because like i said by the time you are all into full football mode on sunday ill be starting spring training for the 07 season.

Looks like a lot of work but it's sure paying off. Reviews are excellant along with team rosters. Are you playing any other games or just playing baseball for the year(curious)?

thank you very much, not my best work on preiview type stuff i could have gone a great deal deeper with all of it... but anyway... yeah basesball is the only sport i play... havent been able to play a football game since they added all these single button acition stuff... every frinking button does a thing you hav eot do to succedd... way too much for me... i liked the orig madden back on the sega genisis.. lol ... bring back madden one and ill kick anyones butt lol

Believe it or not, i'm in the same predicament. Multiple buttons, multiple fuctions. That's why i'm a cpu/cpu guy.
