    Game 23 vs. Toronto
The Yankees dropped their 6th straight in another blowout, 15-0. Wang was mediocre, and then Kyle Farnsworth came in and made things worse. The offense was completely shut down, and was kept off balance by Josh Towers all night. I steamed George Steinbrenner was seen leaving the stadium, saying only "there will be changes."

    W- Josh Towers (4-1)
    L- Chien Meng Wang (3-2)

    8-15

        Game 24 at Boston
Carl Pavano pitched pretty good in his debut, but Curt Schilling was dominant, as the Red Sox handed the Yankees their 7th straight loss, 3-1.

        W- Curt Schilling (5-0)
        L- Carl Pavano (0-1)

        8-16

            Game 25 at Boston
The Yankees jumped out ahead 3-0 in this one on a Jeter homer, and a Sheffield triple. Boston came back to tie however on a 2 run double, and then a Mike Myers wild pitch. The Yankees answered back with a bases clearing double by Robinson Cano, giving the Yankees a 6-3 lead. It ended up being 8-4 heading to the 9th when Mariano Rivera came in. He got the first 2 outs easily, then surrendered a walk, a 2 run homer by Manny, and 3 straight singles to load the bases. Rivera got out of it however with a ground ball to Jeter, and the Yankees losing streak came to an end.

            W- Octavio Dotel (2-0)
            L- Josh Beckett (3-1)

            9-16

              Game 26 at Tampa Bay
Aubrey Huff hit 3 homers, powering the Devil Rays to their 4th straight win over the Yankees, 8-3.

              W- Mark Hendrickson (2-4)
              L- Mike Mussina (0-6)

              9-17

The Yankees have place Alex Rodriguez on the 15 day DL. They have called up Eric Duncan.
