First Half
Zastoupil drains a runner and a hook then after Bey puts in a layup, Ramos banks in a turnaround jumper. Ramos later converts a 3-point play and sinks a jumper to give Columbia a 7-6 lead with 15:00 remaining. Goodman puts in a layup to give Army the lead then after a layup by Thompson, Gately sinks a turnaround jumper. Thompson hits a 3pter then after Bulger and Zastoupil trade jumpers, Gately banks in a turnaround jumper. Zastoupil cans a hook and Thompson drops in a layup to give the Black Knights a six point lead, 19-13, halfway through the opening period. Bulger hits a 3pter then after Zastoupil sinks a turnaround jumper, Scott and Viegas trade hooks. George nails a jumper from the foul line to give Army a seven point lead, 25-18, with 5:00 left. The teams struggle and as after Bey and Foley trade layups, Foley buries a 3pter at the buzzer to cut the Black Knights' lead to four at the half. Army's Zastoupil leads all scorers with 10 points and Ramos leads Columbia with 7.

Second Half
Thompson puts in a layup then after Bey lays in a rebound, Bulger hits a pair of 3pters. Bey sinks a hook then after Matthews drops in a layup, Bey buries another hook to give Army back a four point lead, 35-31, with 15:00 remaining. Matthews hits a 3pter and Scott puts in a layup to give Columbia the lead then after Bulger drills a 3pter, Zastoupil sinks a hook. Thompson makes 1 of 2 free throws then after Richard drops in a layup to give the Black Knights the lead, Scott drains a 3pter to give the Lions back the lead. Bey tips in a rebound to tie the game, 42-42, midway through the second half. The teams struggle as Bulger hits a 3pter then Foley and Viegas trade layups and Columbia leads by three, 47-44, with just under 5:00 left. Norwood and Foley trade layups then Zastoupil sinks a hook and ties the game with a layup with 1:42 to go. Richard is foulded while shooting with 40.5 seconds in regulation and makes the two free throws. The Lions play for the last shot and Bulger misses a 3pter that would have given them the lead with 4.5 seconds to play and Columbia fouls Zastoupil, who grabbed the rebound. The Lions foul Goodman then after the inbounds pass, Goodman gets off a shot from his own end that bounces off the backboard and time runs out.

Bey sinks a short jumper after an offensive rebound then after Jacobson buries a jumper, Stapley cans a hook to cut Army's lead to two, 4-2, with 15:00 remaining. Miller tips in a rebound to tie the game then after Jacobson puts in a layup, Vasquez makes two free throws to tie the game. Vasquez drains two more free throws then after Zastoupil drops in a layup to tie the game, Clemmons and Zastoupil trade hooks. Zastoupil sinks a pair of free throws then Mouton puts in a layup to tie the game, 12-12, halfway through the first half. Zastoupil and Milbourne trade jumpers then Vasquez and Jacobson trade layups.
