    Kredit,
Great looking franchise, your #'s look pretty realistic.
Are you still using Heels sliders? Did I read it right that you do not touch the L analog stick when batting?
Can you please PM me all the changes you made to Heels sliders?
    Thanks

Kelly Johnson Walks Off in Atlanta
      Braves' leadoff man stays hot
      Braves 5, Mets 3 (13 innings)

Edgar Renteria hit his third homer in as many games

Atlanta, GA -- When Tim Hudson and Tom Glavine were announced as the starters for game one of the Braves/Mets series, everyone knew a great game was on the horizon. Neither disappointed, but Hudson clearly had the better outing despite the no decision. Atlanta's starter went eight innings and recorded five strikeouts, giving up just two runs and scattering nine hits. Glavine went 6.2 frames, struck out six, and also allowed two runs.

The score was knotted going into the tenth inning, but Jose Reyes went deep for the second time in the ball game to put the Mets up by one. Edgar Renteria came to the plate in the bottom of the inning and answered with his sixth bomb of the season, and the score was again knotted.

In the bottom of the 13th, Ryan Langerhans led off with a pinch-hit single up the middle. Kelly Johnson came to the plate after going 1-5 in his previous five plate appearances. The little lefty jumped on the first fastball he saw, and hit it off of the right field foul pole for the walk off two-run homer.

Atlanta's offense stifled by New York pitching
        Braves 1, Mets 5

Jose Reyes continues to roll against ATL, goes 2-5

Atlanta, GA -- Pedro Martinez dominated the first six innings against the Braves, and outpitched Atlanta's ace John Smoltz. Smoltz pitched well, going seven and allowing only three, but Martinez was better. The veteran struck out eight Atlanta batters on the afternoon, and gave up just one run on a collision at home plate.

Moises Alou and Carlos Beltran packed a punch in the middle of the New York order, as both of them recorded a triple and an RBI. Alou later added a homerun, giving him five on the year.

Atlanta Takes Game and Series 2-1
Craig Wilson delivers in bottom of the ninth for W
          Braves 2, Mets 1

Andruw Jones connects for one of his three singles

Atlanta, GA -- On the surface, a matchup featuring Chuck James of Atlanta and Orlando Hernandez of New York wouldn't seem like a marquee pitcher's duel. However, that's exactly how things played out in the third game of the series between these two squads.

Chuck James pitched great for Atlanta, going eight strong in his outing. The crafty youngster struck out six Mets on the afternoon, and scattered five hits. Although James only gave up a single run, he still departed with a no decision.

In the bottom of the ninth with the score still knotted at one, Chipper Jones led things off with a single into right field. Andruw Jones singled for the third time in the game, and Brian McCann was hit by a pitch to load the bases. After Edgar Renteria struck out, Bobby Cox answered with Craig Wilson off the bench as the Mets brought in Billy Wagner. The move paid off, as Wilson stroked the first pitch into deep centerfield for the game winning hit.

Braves Continue Playing Well, Beat Phils
Andruw Jones hits his seventeenth HR of the year
            Braves 7, Phillies 1

Andruw Jones drove in five runs for the Braves against PHI

Atlanta, GA -- Currently third in the NL East, the Braves took on the Phillies, who stand a game and a half up on Atlanta in the standings. In the series opener, Mark Redman took the bump for the Bravos and opposed Brett Myers of Philadelphia.

Redman pitched yet another gem, earning his third win of the season in the complete game shutout. Perhaps even more amazing was how Redman struck out ten baters en route to a one-hitter, and sat down 21 straight Phils to end the ball game. Aside from an Aaron Rowand homerun in the second inning, Philadelphia looked helpless at the plate.

On the other side of things, Atlanta's lineup sizzled against Myers. Andruw Jones and Brian McCann both went deep on the evening, and the Braves cruised to the easy six-run victory.

Jeff Francoeur made his first start after recovering from a bruised knee. The rightfielder was 1-4 on the afternoon with an RBI.

Freddy Garcia gave up two hits against the Atlanta Braves

Atlanta, GA -- Kyle Davies went all nine innings for Atlanta, giving up just two hits, striking out nine, and allowing a single run. Pretty good outing, huh? Too bad it turned out to be a loss.

Freddy Garcia also only gave up two hits over his eight innings of work, and the first didn't come until the sixth inning. Philadelphia's starter didn't give up a single run against the Bravos, and only recorded a single strikeout.

In the ninth, Jimmy Rollins hit a homerun to right field to give the Phils the 1-0 victory.

Mike Gonzalez earned his ninth save of the season

Atlanta, GA -- Tim Hudson and Jamie Moyer locked horns in the finale of the three game series, but neither left the game with a decision. Hudson went seven, struck out six, and gave up two earned runs against the Phils. Moyer went 6.2 innings, giving up two runs as well, and scattered ten hits.

In the bottom of the eighth inning with the score tied at two, Kelly Johnson led things off with his third double of the contest. Andruw Jones later singled him in, and the Bravos claimed their 27th win of the year.

Renteria's only batting like .250 for me, so I can't exactly say I'm having much success with him, lol. I've heard numerous complaints about batters with closed stances, so that might have something to do with our struggles with him.

John Smoltz pitched well for the Bravos, throwing a complete game and allowing just two runs. The veteran struck out three in the effort, and earned his sixth win of the season.

Milwaukee, WI -- Dave Bush took the hill for the hometown Brewers, and was actually pretty effective against Atlanta's high octane offense. Sure, the young right hander gave up four earned over five innings, but that's better than Chris Capuano could say last night.

Chipper Jones hit his 17th HR, and Andruw Jones later added #19. Between the two of them, the Jones boy drove in all six Atlanta runs and led the Bravos to victory.

Renteria's only batting like .250 for me, so I can't exactly say I'm having much success with him, lol. I've heard numerous complaints about batters with closed stances, so that might have something to do with our struggles with him.
ya i know..i finally had a good game with him. He went like 3-4 with a double and a homerun. He is actually having a good last 4 games with me. Now he is batting .233 lol with 3 hrs. lol but i would like it if he is up in the .250s-.270s..im not that picky i just dont want my starting shortstop batting a .195. Anyway good job again on the season. I am 13-8 now so good luck for the rest of the way. Bring back the divisional title to Atlanta where it belongs!

Oh wait...how is your team batting avg.? if you could post how your guys are doing for like stats that would be cool cuz i want to compare ours.

Hey Kredit, are you still using Heelfan's sliders with the adjustments you have back a few pages?
