Wow for someone who is rated 71, I play pretty good.
" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "
        - Lavar Arrington on his new Redskins teammate Sean Taylor.

Im not going to post FG% anymore, unless someone does something special like 20 for 20.

                    OS Thunder VS Portland Trailblazers

                    Thunder - 94
                    Blazers - 81

Player of the Game - Elias Rasan

                    Pts - Hopp, Sky 17; Coffey 12; Jones, Rasan 11; Slater 10; Bolden, Butler 5; Lamb 3; Baartz 2; Burris 1

Ast - Coffey 9; Rasan 4; Wigfall, Sky, Baartz 2; Lamb, Butler, Slater, Burris, Bolden, Hopp 1

Reb - Rasan 12; Sky 10; Baartz 5; Hopp, Burris 4; Slater, Bolden 2; Butler, Coffey, Jones 1

Stl - Sky 4; Coffey, Baarts 3; Slater, Bolden, Rasan 2; Hopp, Wigfall 1

                    Blk - Rasan 3; Baartz, Slater 1

TO - Sky 3; Rasan 2; Bolden, Slater, Hopp, Baartz, Coffey, Butler 1

Fls - Baartz 3; Rasan, Hopp 2; Coffey, Burris, Sky, Butler, Wigfall 1

Portland's leading scorer was Wallace with 20.

This game was looking rough at the start. The Blazers and Rasheed Wallace seemed unstopable. They led the entire first half despite the best efforts of the Thunder. Slater and Jones did cut the 10 point lead down to 2 before the half with a few big shots. The Blazers started the second half much like they did the first, with a nice run. Their lead did not last to long into the third quarter because of the effort from Butler, who hit a three to tie the game. The Thunder used that three to build momentum which carried into the fourth quarter and were up by 17 at one point. Coffey kept finding the open man which opened up their offense and everone was getting in on the act.

                    Next game @ New Orleans

OS Thunder (4-0) @ New Orleans Hornets (0-2)

                                Thunder - 96
                                Hornets - 90

Stl - Coffey 8; Rasan, Lamb, Slater 2; Burris, Bolden, Baartz 1

                                Blk - Sky 2; Bolden 1

TO - Coffey 8; Slater, Rasan 2; Bolden, Butler 1

Fls - Coffey 5; Bolden, Rasan 2; Jones, Wigfall, Hopp 1

New Orleans' leading scorer was Alexander with 19.

The key to todays win was the bench. The guys coming off the bench kept the momentum rolling. Jones once again had a good day of scoring, but the suprise off the bench was Slater who hit two key three pointers to close out the first half. Coffey played great offensively with 12 assists, and some clutch free throws to seal the win, he is still struggling with fouls and turnovers. The disappointment for todays game was the play of Hopp who couldn't find his shot but helped the team by applying pressure and knocking away a few passes defensively.

                                Next game VS Orlando
