Sim Only - Career of Dale Yates (CHoops 2k7)

I got this idea from someone doing the same thing for NCAA 07, so I figured I'd give it a shot for CHoops. I'm going to simulate the first three seasons to get all the big name players out of the game and just run with randomly generated recruits. I'm also not going to be recruiting these first three seasons.

First 3 seasons of Dale Yates' career:

2006-2007: Army, 17-14, 1st Round of NCAA Tournament (#14 seed)
2007-2008: Army, 7-19, No Postseason
2008-2009: Army, 13-14, No Postseason

My contract has been renewed for another 4 years. Let me see what I can do with Army now that I am really trying to recruit...

Army basketball officially announces a 4-year contract extension for coach Dale Yates. Coach Yates led the team to an NCAA tournament berth in his first season as coach. His overall record in the first three seasons was 37-47, not too shabby, but a bit disappointing after an inaugural 17-14 season with a #14 seed in the NCAAs.

"We'll be recruiting very hard and it seems kids want to play here at Army. We will be known in the basketball world very soon!"

I'll admit that I did a terrible job recruiting this season. I think I tried too hard to grab some 3* players when I should have been focusing on some good 2* players. Hopefully I can get another season in tonight and maybe make a move to a new school. I had a chance to go to many different schools, but the only one that semi-interested me was Albany with the chance to recruit in New York, but I figured I would give Army one more season.

More than likely this will be my last season at Army and I plan on leaving it in a better condition than when I first got here. I will settle for nothing less than an NCAA tournament berth!"

Thanks! I'm hoping this new recruiting class really puts my team over the top in the Patriot league. For the first time in this whole sim Bucknell didn't win the league, so I'm hoping they are down right now and I can jump in and win the conference.
