Looks good so far, I kind of wish I would have got the roster update before I started mine. I guess it's not to late, since I am playing all 82 games and I've only played 1.

Thank you, man I didn't know I had to import the draft class in the beginning. I thought I wouldn't have to import it till the end of the playoffs or something. Now I'm stuck because i want real players in there. Do any of you guys know if we could use College Hoops 2K7 draft classes in this game?

Hmmm..any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks, I guess I'll play some pre-season games till Hoops comes out. I really need real players. Might be minute for some but it's a big deal to me.
I'll spice it up to make the time go by fast.

It was a big deal to me but the problem with importing rookies is this...
1) Their age could be off
2) Their appearance could be WAY off
3) You have to look at fake photos anyways
4) You could draft Ty Lawson in the 2nd round or something like that, and that's not gonna happen
5) Similar to #4, but ratings would be off

Hmmm..I wonder if those issues have been fixed though? Thanks for the heads up. I'm in no rush to start the dynasty and I'll try to be creative to pass the time. But I hope they have fixed those issues for Hoops 08.

Oakland, CA -(AP) - The Lakers and Warriors start there Pre-Season tonight. We knew we weren't going to see much but the Warriors have a lot to prove this year. They snuck into our hearts as the "Cinderella" of last year's playoffs. This year no team will be taking them lightly. Teams are now gunning for the Warriors. The lakers on the other hand, have a solid team on paper but can't seem to put it out into there play. Kobe is unhappy, fans want some changes. Will this be the year the Lakers land a big name in LA? It's no secret the Lakers have to make changes, but what are those changes going to be? Back to the game..
The game was fast paced as expected but the Lakers choose to only play there starters for the first and third quarters. To every one's surprise third year player/project Andrew Bynum looked great. Bynum had a solid game, in 25 minutes of play, he had 15 points and 12 boards. Kobe had a great game when he was in and looked in mid season form scoring 23 points and 5 rebounds in 23 minutes of play. The Warriors lost Richardson via trade, but Stephen Jackson picked stepped up his game and led all Warriors scorers with 27 points, 4 boards and 4 assists. Baron Davis played well racking up 16 points, 4 boards and 16 assists. " I felt good, I just wanted to go out and play" stated Davis after the game. Kobe added after the game "this is a good time to polish your skills before the real games and it's good to see the young guys play hard". "It felt like old times with these guys, I'm glad I'm back in LA" states Fisher after the game.
The Lakers will fly to the east coast to face the Boston Celtics.

A little workaround you could do is just put on trade override and slot people where you think they should go. I have an idea....

Trade your #1 pick for the #1 overall pick.
Draft the guy who should go #1 on your team.
Trade them the guy you drafted for your own #1 pick back.
Repeat with the #2 overall pick and so on...

It can be done!
