    Appalachian State Mountaineers (NCAA 2005)

Well, with the demolition of my WVU dynasty since I couldn't get past all the glaring flaws of NCAA 08, I will begin this dynasty. When it came down to it, NCAA 08 didn't feel like I was playing a real football game. I will be playing NCAA 2005. NCAA 07 was ruined by momentum and NCAA 06 was just not very good IMO, but I always liked NCAA 2005. This is the game with the large quantities of dropped, but this can be mostly fixed with sliders. Most of all, to me NCAA 2005 had the "fun factor" and I always enjoyed playing it.

I figured I would take advantage of the 1-AA teams and pick Appalachian State. This will be before their 2 National Championships and the roster will be auto-named. I will pretend the team moved up from 1-AA to 1-A and become part of the Mid-American Conference, otherwise known as the MAC.

Keep in mind, conferences are a little off since this is an older game. For example, the Big East only has 7 teams and still has Temple and Boston College, but has not yet gained Louisville, South Florida, and Cincinnati.

Nonetheless, I plan on having fun with this fun game. Appalachian State should be an immense challenge since 1-AA teams are generally rated terribly, but we'll have fun with it.

I have a dynasty with them on the xbox and I am in my fourth year and have gotten them to a 3 star team.

That's cool, though I think I may end this. I just cannot stand how slow my secondary is with 1-AA teams. Everytime the computer throws deep, their receivers blow past my defenders and catch the ball open by 20 yards and run in for the TD. Against Uconn, they scored almost 100 on me. What is the solution? Just do one with WVU. They're not that good in this game, so I'll go with them. WVU may be a team you like Steelersfan, though you may like Pitt.

^^^ I had that problem too but after a my first season my whole team was pretty much true-freshmen starting. 3-9, 11-2, 13-0, 3-0 #25 so far.

***I did schedule terrible teams my second and third years which explains those records and I am in the sunbelt.
