    Spurs beat Wolves

Again, no time to write what happened...I have a wedding I have to go to soon and well, I don't feel like writing out what happened. Mainly, Stackhouse killed me with 46 points despite a strong effort from Shawn Kemp. Wolves fall to 4-4.

Next Game: Minnesota vs New Orleans

          OT Thriller: Wolves vs Grizzlies

The game went back and forth the whole night and a potential game winner by Nick Van Exel missed and the game headed into overtime. In overtime, he Wolves were up by 1 with 30 seconds left when Nick Van Exel was fouled hard and Memphis was called for a flagrant foul. Nick made both freethrows and Minnesota then inbounded the ball and hit a 2-pointer. The Grizzlies went down the court as the clock was ticking with no timeouts left and tried for a 3 but missed, but got the offensive rebound and hit a layup with 3 seconds left to cut the lead to 3. Minnesota just needed to inbound the ball and the game would be over, but Nick Van Exel was being heavily defended by 2 players and stepped out of bounds with 1.4 seconds left. Memphis had another chance! But nobody was open near the three point line and they had to settle for a 2 that they missed anyway. Game goes to Minnesota, who improves to be 6-4 and 2-0 with Greg Foster. Final score: 128-125.

Wolves get destroyed by the Grizz at home

What looked to be a close game at half time, with the score 51-51, ended up as a disaster for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Sorry guys, I was pissed that I lost so bad and didn't bother looking up stats. All I know is that I got killed...player of the game was Larry Hughes...

                      Wolves lose heartbreaker to Atlanta

107-105 George Lynch hits the game winning shot.

                      Stats:
Shawn Kemp: 36 points, 11 boards
Nick Van Exel: 32 points, 16 assists, 8 steals

                      For the Hawks:
Gary Payton: 39 points, 6 steals

Player of the Game: Gary Payton

It sucked. It was tied 105-105 with 3.7 seconds left, my ball. I pass it to Glen Rice and he throws it away to the other team. They call a 20 second timeout, Lynch gets the ball and wins it for them. Damn...
