Facing the Giants (ESPN NFL 2K5)

Okay, I guess I'll go ahead and begin this since my Madden disk will not work. I'll be using Bill's Sliders as usual. I may not go quite as in depth as my Madden one, though. Maybe not have quite as many stats. Hope you don't mind.

By the way, if you are wondering, the title is the name of a movie, but this is about the New York Giants, the worst team on the game and it is Eli Manning's rookie year.

Giants Trade Kurt Warner to Rams for Rookie Stephen Jackson!!!

The New York Giants, confident in quarterback Eli Manning, have went ahead and traded away Kurt Warner to the Rams for Stephen Jackson, a rookie runningback with a promising future. "We feel he can lead us into the future once Tiki retires," said new GM Superjames. "We'll make sure he gets some carries this year, too, because he's good, real good.

Wow, how many dynasties have you had in the past month and a half?
      Blind to this impending fate
We let the world carry our weight
It's back breaks with every mile
But we all live in denial

WAY too many. It's a shame. I was really liking my Panthers dynasty with Madden 2004, but the game suddenly decided to sucker on me and it's all over.

How is this compared with MADDEN?

                  How is the play calling?

It is a better simulation than Madden in my opinion. It is pretty good and the graphics are really good for the original Xbox. It plays the most realistic football I've ever seen and it also includes a coach mode which you may like. Sometimes, the computer can throw a bit too many interceptions, though. I may play some on this as well. Madden is a bit more arcadey, but still fun, while this game is a better simulation of real football. Plus, it has great presentation, but from what I've heard it's better the Xbox than the PS2, so I cannot really tell how the PS2 version is. It's only $1.99 at Gamestop, so it's definitely worth a try.

Hope you keep this running to James. Your luck to get this for $2 in the States, I paid $7 for a used copy while a new one in $30.

Yeah, I may still play this. The only thing that continues to bug me about 2K5 is the game speed, which seems a little slow to me, but that may be a just because Madden is too fast. I may play Madden and ESPN 2K5, that way I never get tired of either as they both have their high points.

I may revert to my previous Panthers chise that is already going, however. It doesn't seem as fun with a team I don't particularly care about like the Giants.

The old rosters bug me a bit, but if I wasn't so cheap, I'd buy an Action Replay so I could upload rosters and such.

You could try running two, but that may get you overwhelmed with posting priorities and such. Either way I'm following both.
