    CH2K8 Legacy by Stewaat

Alright fellas...I'm getting the itch to do another deep legacy.

To kick this thing off I need to take a vote on what team I should fire this legacy up with. I plan on doing this legacy as long as possible since this is the last college game we'll be getting.

    Thanks for your vote!

UNC Tar Heels - Pro: I love them with all my heart Con: If I lose I might shoot myself
    0%
    2
Georgetown Hoyas - Pure tradition and they're back on the map. Great program
    0%
    6
Notre Dame Fighting Irish - My alma mater and I would try and completely rebuild them. Problem is I hate the current program.
    0%
    7
Minnesota Golden Gophers - See what Tubby can do against the Big Ten
    0%
    2
USC Trojans - They are young and talented. Mayo would be fun to use...even 1 year

Bring the Temple Owls back to respectability. You also get to play big 5 games at the Palestra, one of the meccas of college basketball.Forget all of those other teams, everybody uses them

I have to say I've never been a fan of Temple. Didn't like Chaney all that much and didn't like the players either.

I'm looking for a team that has Championship capability. Minnesota/ND would be the two toughest teams to accomplish that with. USC would be pretty tough too and UNC/Gtown would have really good shots.

I voted for Georgetown... Personally, I think it would be cool for you to bring back the attitude that Georgetown once carried at just the mention of it's name.

I remember when I was younger back in the early 1990s all I would think when I heard Georgetown was power, aggressiveness and winning.

I think if you can recruit another Iverson, Mutumbo/Ewing or even Hibbert to stay for 3-4 years you will be guiding them to the Sweet 16 every year.

I voted for Notre Dame because I think it would be a challenge and would be very possible to achieve greatness there. With their unbalanced schedule in the Big East, you're gonna get a few "off" years where you may avoid the powerhouses.

As far as picking UNC, I rarely pick my favorite school in a dynasty just because I get too involved in it. Plus, I like to try out different teams, mainly teams that either need a new head coach or are getting a new one.
          My Teams:
          NFL - Washington Redskins
          MLB - Detroit Tigers
          NBA - Detroit Pistons
          NHL - Washington Capitals
          NCAA - Virginia Cavaliers
          NCAA - Arkansas Razorbacks
          NCAA - Michigan St Spartans

I was never too big on Chaney so I was happy when he retired and the Owls went with Dunphy who did a helluva job at Penn.Personally I'm a Tarheel fan since the days of JR Reid,Scott Williams,King Rice,Pete Chilcutt.......you get the picture. So I'm biased towards the ACC,the best league in the NCAA.But I go with more of a rebuilding team like Duke(hehehe).Seriously though the ACC is the way to go,the team dosen't even matter.

Thanks for the input everybody. Keep the votes coming! It's a VERY close race right now.

4 are tied with two votes
                Minnesota has one

If one pulls away I'll go with that one. I have yet to cast my own vote and will probably abstain.

I must say I am leaning towards Gtwon/USC right now as my top two.

Notre Dame. They are actually pretty good this year, but not great, which should produce a moderate rebuilding job.

I say roll with the team that would be the toughest to rebuild. I'm not sure of which one it is because I only really follow Duke and the ACC.

Probably Notre Dame then, although Minnesota may need rebuilding as well.

Yea I think Minnesota has the toughest rebuilding ahead of them.

I would probably cut a couple ND guys right off the bat. I hate Harongody! Or however you spell his name

Gtown would actually be tough. They lose their top 2 players in Hibbert/Wallace. I believe they have 5 schollies to give out in the beginning of the year so recruiting would be huge.

I've ruled out UNC. Gotta be someone else.

USC still appeals to me. Mayo and Gibson with the other young players would be fun. Plus I've never played with a team in the Pac-10.

I've done the Big East before.

                            It's a race to 7.

                            Gtown needs 1 vote.

                            ND needs 2

                            Who's it gonna be?
