Real American Racing (DTR2)
So I decided to do a Dirt Track Racing 2 dynasty because the career mode on it is pretty cool, plus you have to buy everything and repair everything too.Tags: None -

Taylor Enters Lagoon Local Series Finishes 11th First Race
James Taylor entered his first Lagoon Local Series Pro Stock race at Spindale Speedway and he came out with mixed emotions. After great Practice and Qualifying runs. He ended up 8th after Qualifying. He was in heat 2 and he finished last because of a black flag for cutting the track. "It was pretty ridiculous," said Taylor, "I'm new to racing and I lose control and barely cut and they come down hard on me, I guess I just gotta learn the rules." Taylor then was entered into the D, C, and B Mains in which he finished 1st in the first 2 races and 2nd in the last one. Thus, getting him a transfer spot into the A Main. Taylor said he "ran a good race, but couldn't get a break" and finished 11th in the A Main. "It's not a bad start for the first race of your life, I'll just regroup and try to do better next race.

Re: Real American Racing (DTR2)
I have Dirt Track Racing 1 for the PC and it always was pretty fun. I had a nice career mode going. I have not played it in years, but I may have to get it out again sometime.Comment

Taylor Recovers From Injuries Finishes Well In Finale
A couple of weeks ago terrible wreck at 41st Street Speedway kept Taylor sidelined until the season finale. Taylor dove low in his heat race to pass a car and hit a tire barrier sticking halfway out of the ground and then ramped the tire barrier and flipped and did 3 rolls. "It was pretty scary, not to mention I had to save some extra money to get my car fixed," said Taylor. Taylor sustained two broken ribs and a mild concussion. After an extended period of not racing, Taylor was cleared to race in the season finale at Parkside Speedway. Taylor qualified fifth, and once again cut the track and got a black flag in his heat, but Taylor was so strong he was able to recover and finish eighth in his heat. After finishing 2nd in the B Main, Taylor moved on to the A Main where he was able to move from the back of the 16 car field and get a sixth place finsihed. "It was nice to be back racing and do so well," Taylor said, " I know we don't have some of the equipment these guys do but we will get better as time goes on." Taylor is looking at new options for the 2010 season* as he wants a change-up in his racing.

Taylor Enters New Series In 2010, Gets Rough Introduction
After a shortened season last year because of an injury, James Taylor looked forward to racing a full season this year, but his dreams may be terminated. Taylor entered the Taylor Wings Figure 8's series, in a move in which this reporter calls crazy. There is a little pay raise from his last series, but the racing is more hazardous and expensive because of the damage. Taylor qualified 12th at the season opener at South Central Speedway. After another disappointing heat in which he finished 8th in, Taylor looked to go strong in his first Main event. He look the lead early in the B Main and never looked back, leading every lap as he took first and earned a transfer spot into the A Main. In the A Main, Taylor started in the back and was working his way up in the field until he learned why fans come to Figure 8 races. As Taylor was crossing the part of the track where all the accidents happen he was t-boned on his passenger side and taken out of the race. "It was some good damage, not enough to take me out, but for some reason the car wouldn't fire back up, it was really disappointing and a tough start for me," said Taylor. Taylor will look to bounce back next week in his next Taylor Wings Figure 8's series race.

*For some reason the game started me in 2009 and when you finished a season in a series, whether you run 5 race or 20 it spreads it out over a whole year. So 2010 is going to short as I only run 4 races.Comment
