Should I try for the rushing title?

I have a franchise going in Madden 2006 with 1 game left in the season. I've already locked up homefield advantage throughout the playoffs but I need 90 yards to beat Julius Jones for the rushing title with Alley Broussard (former LSU back I drafted from NCAA).

I've been neck-and-neck with Jones all year and he pulled ahead by 3 yards last week, but only put up 86 yards in the Cowboys' last game, leaving me 90 yards from winning the rushing title.

Bear in mind that I haven't finished a season in Madden in a few years and I don't even remember the last time I won a rushing title. I've already locked up a Pro Bowl invite and am currently the leader to get the MVP with Broussard.

The question is - should I rest Broussard and not risk injury in a meaningless game, or should I play him and try to get the yards?

All of the teams do it in real life, so you can also. You can rest him for the rest of the game after he passes Jones.

wow it's 7-0 in favor of doing it. thanks for the responses everyone. i guess i will play him and take a crack at the 90 yards. maybe i can get it done in 3 quarters. or a half if i get a big run.
