Coaches Report: "This was a great game. I just want to thank the Rice Owls for coming to the Louisiania Dome. I also would like to thank my own players. They did a great job. So I am also congratulating my players. That was a classic game. With the final score 28-24, it was a tremendous game. I was totally scared during the Owls' last drive. They marched all the way up field, for a great last play. I am just lucky to have Josh Lumar on my team. That was a great tackle. This win makes 3 straight. I couldn't be anymore proud."

I was shocked to see UAB's kicker miss the 27 yard field goal. Then we completed the 4th and 20 play. Great game. One more win and we are bowl eligable. We are going to take on a tough Tulsa team at their place. Wish us luck, we might need it."

UAB is outclassed in conference play by Tulane 44-38 in OT. Tulane is now 5-5 and looking for at least one win in their last two games. UAB is now 4-6 and must win their last two games to become bowl eligable.

Tulane prevails in overtime against UAB 44-38. Tulane was lucky. UAB missed a field goal from 27 yards out in OT. Then on 4th and 20 Tulane got the first down and later scored on the option.

Tulane loos forward to their road match-up with Tulsa. Tulane has a record of 5-5. Tulsa has a record of 6-4. Tulsa is #5 in the country in scoring averaging 41.3 points per game. Tulane will need to slow down that offense with their #31 defense in the country. Both Lee and Kirk of College Gameday are picking Tulsa to win this game.
