What were the sliders you were using exactly? They seem to generate penalties nicely for both sides, I never seem to get any myself despite the computer having a ton.
I use the penalty slider at max. Ill have to copy the sliders for you and put them in here, but if you go into Jonesey's Nashville Predators thread they should be in there on one of the last pages.

Not a problem on the format. It's real easy to keep it organized in the excel format. Easy and quick to update too.

        JONES TO MAKE NHL DEBUT

NEW YORK, NY (AP) - After the morning skate today at Madison Square Garden, Lindy Ruff held his normal press conference where he announced that Patrick Kaleta had come down with the flu bug, and that rookie C Mike Jones will start his first NHL game versus New York tonight. Jones was aquired in an offseason trade with Nashville, and is expected to rotate in and out of the lineup with forwards Pat Kaleta, Clarke MacArthur and Danny Paille. Coach Ruff has said that these four players are on the cusp of making this roster, and will have to earn their playing time. Jones will center the fourth line between Paille and MacArthur tonight.

Kaleta is expected to be back for Friday's home game against Vancouver, and it has already been planned that Clarke MacArthur will be a healthy scratch.

Great updates man, I'm lovin' the Carubba(Kaleta) Collison of the Game feature, never thought I'd see that anywhere else than MSG. Awesome dynasty.

Thanks, man. When I decided to do this, I knew that was the one thing that I wanted to make sure was in every update. The Heads up and save feature was added later, but I knew from the get go (especially with the over the top hits in this game) that Carubba would be an every game addition.

I'll get another game in tomorrow night either before or after the Sabres game.

No, but you had a couple of nice shots. Tried to keep you out there to get an empty netter at the end, but it just wasn't to be.

By the way, I think I forgot to mention....I moved Atlanta to Quebec. Atlanta is a crappy hockey town, so, I moved them there. I think I also moved LA to Anchorage as well, but I can't remember. I did that because I didn't really want to move Phoenix because they have cool unis, and there are two LA teams, so the worse team left.

Sorry if this detracts from the realism, I just created a couple of cool unis, and put them to good use.

                            Connolly Ailing, Roster Moves

Coach Ruff discusses the roster after the morning skate.

                            October 20, 2008

BUFFALO, NY (AP) - Lindy Ruff addressed the Buffalo media after the morning skate today to answer a few questions about the roster skating around HSBC arena today.

BN: Coach, we didn't see Connolly out there today, is everything ok?
LR: Timmy's going to be fine. He got hit pretty hard during the last game, so we are going to keep him out of the lineup for a few days to make sure he is alright. I would expect to see him make the road trip at the end of the week (MIN, COL), but he may not play until Colorado.

BN: There were two other notable players missing from practice today, can you explain them as well?
LR: Yep, J.M. and I had a meeting this morning to talk about personnel issues, and we optioned two players to Portland, Jonesey and Chris Bourque. Chris was not being used up here, and he needs to get some reps down in the minors. We liked what we saw from Jonesey, and he will certainly have a place on this team down the road, but as of right now, he needs to work on his game some in the minors. He was ok with it, and with the way that Mac and Patty have been playing, there may not have been much playing time for him up here right now.

BN: Are you bringing anyone up from Portland to replace them?
LR: Yes, we recalled RW Mark Mancari and LW Matt Ellis today, they will be with us through the road trip, and then, most likely, Mark will be sent back to Portland once we know Timmy is ok.

After answering these questions, Lindy went to the locker room to meet with his players. Expect Mancari or Ellis to play tomorrow night at home against Boston.
