    LP: Arthur We (0-2)
    SV: Jimmy Chase (6)
Summary: This game was a pitchers duel. Despite that fact, the Red Sox managed to break through for the winning run in the 4th off a Trot Nixon RBI single. Jimmy Chase continues to dominate out of the pen, recording his 6th save of the year.
