travis a.d. Signs 3-year Extension

MEMPHIS, TN -- After a 2008 season which included a 9-5 record, a trip to the Conference-USA championship game, and a Liberty Bowl win over an SEC opponent, it's no big surprise the powers-that-be at Memphis hurried up and gave travis a.d. a contract extension.

The coach is now set to lead the Tigers through at least the year 2013 but the coaching staff do expect some things out of him.

The critera for his 6-year deal was simple: Beat Ole Miss, finish top 3 in Conference-USA (which was already accomplished in his first year), and finally, defeat a certain BCS opponent that you will find out as soon as I post the 2009 schedule.

"Top 3? Heck, I am calling another appearance in the Conference title game this year", travis a.d. boldly exclaimed during the press announcement. "And Ole Miss better watch out. After the beating they gave us last year, this year we aren't going to go down without a fight".
