My dad was in the West Virginia Air National Guard from the early 80s until 1992 in which time he served in Operation Just Cause and Operation Desert Storm. He was a Captain on the C-130.

Watson - I have 12 games, 11 of those are sports. :P Only non sport game i have right now is GTA4. So your not alone in mostly sports games.

I'm pretty much a sports game guy, as well. I have COD4 and COD5 and that's about it as far as non-sports games.

33, just bought a new home with my girlfriend, don't have the time that I once had to play video games, other than work at the office and here at home, I spend my other time fishing, hunting, doing the whole outdoors thing, spending time with my girlfriend and oh yes, in the fall going to Happy Valley for PSU football, but really try to get 2-3 games of my baseball dynasty in a week if possible. I do it for all of you guys to follow, plus by posting it, it gives me motivation to complete a whole season, hopefully more than that. It kind of makes me feel responsible to all of the OS readers who follow it, because I know now if I didn't post the games on here, I'd never finish it.

We may have served together...I was in Desert Storm and in Europe during Just Cause. Was AD from 83 until 92 myself.

I actually havnt even started a dynasty yet but im planning on starting my first tomorrow actually! Im a student, about to head into grade 9 and after school is out, all i wanna do is play some video games, i dont care about the losers who hang out in town and do drugs, so u could kinda say its somewhat of an escape from them but i just dont do it 2 get away from people, i enjoy playing games for a reason, especially nhl 09, pure fun awesomeness lol

I got bored once and found some NHL BAP stories and got hooked. I'm currently on summer "vacation" from Cornell University working for my dad on his farm where the hours are fairly flexible. I just enjoy playing and making up either a write-up or a backstory depending on what is needed for the situation.

When I was an early teen, I'd take my mother's tape recorder and Mic and act out all kinds of crazy sports situations. I'd mainly do wrestling segments where I would be the interviewer or color commentator, calling a wrestling match.

I'm 37 now and still do the voice-overs for my dynasties/careers. I have 4 boys, the youngest 4 months. Playing time is always after the kids and wife are in bed. I just never gave up the fantasy side of it all and video games help maintain it. I wonder how much I could get for one of my childhood tapes? lol

Your still doing these voice-overs eh? Hmmm interesting, do you have it on video, I'm interested in viewing them if you have them on video. Do you just do like wrestling games and if not just wrestling, what other kinds of game?

Right now I cover my dynasties with a ESPN like broadcast. I finally got things going this year for MLB 2K9, then my 360 got the RROD. When I got it back I downloaded the patch for 2K9 and just couldn't justify putting the time into a game I wasn't crazy about. So, now I'm doing my Fight Night Round 4 Legacy. Hey everyone,

Not trying to take you guys away from this site, because it seems like it is a great community with a great bunch of guys. I'm just posting here if you're interested. Over on the playstation forums, their is no specific place for people to post their dynasties or their career stories, so people start to complain about how these stories clutter the boards. Their is a website: www.thespot00.hqforums.net that is for people who love to write their stories. I have been reading through all of these pages and it seems like some of you have somewhat of a "passion" for this type of thing. If you're interested, head over to the site and read about what it's all about and if it sounds cool to you, I'd suggest you join. We originally opened up last year and when the site was alive it was A LOT of fun. Problem was, we didn't advertise as much as we are now so we didn't get a big community. Now, we're advertising a lot and hopefully that will make it successful.

Again, I'm not trying to gear you away from this site. But, if you have a passion for writing and hope to be a writer of some sort someday or just like to hear feedback from people, that is all that this website is about!
