What are the Spurs doing battling for EIGHTH!?
You'd think they'd be a little higher in the seeding..

Pistons not even in the playoff picture...understandable, it's gotta be tough to translate their 'go to work' attitude in a game

5 Good Minutes with Eddie Griffin on PTI

Pardon the Interuption with Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon, we are here to spend 5 good minutes with Eddie Griffin from the Toronto Raptors

Wilbon Eddie, what's up, man. You been doing alright ?
Griffin Yeah man, I been fine,
Wilbon Good. Let me start by asking you a question. DO YOU LIKE PLAYING IN TORONTO...Isn't it cold??
Griffin Haha, yeah man, it's a bit cold up here. But the fans love us, and after a disappointing end to last year's season, I think we've given the fans what they want this year. And I think if we get in the playoffs, with homecourt advantage, we're almost a lock for the second round because of our fans.
Kornheiser Which brings me to my next point... Eddie do you feel that with the trade that sent you and Moochie to Toronto has put this team over the hump...do you feel that you and Moochie have filled the voids?
Griffin Yeah, Moochie has been playing real good at the point guard spot. He's nursing an injury to the left ankle right now, but I even feel like he's ok with his minutes. His minutes have gone down because we've got Aaron McKie, and he can run point. But Moochie is out there doing what he needs to do, and he's not complaining.
Wilbon OK, Eddie. Answer me honestly...do you think...that Toronto can win the 'ship this year? Answer me honestly, man...
Griffin...Haha..wow man, thats a tough question to answer...actually, no it isn't. I really think that we have as good a shot to win the 'ship this year as any of the other teams in the East. Everybody loves Boston right now, and THEY ARE at the top of the East, but no team wants us in a 7-game series.
KornheiserSo do you think that if you have to play the Wizards in the first round, you'll get by them?
Griffin Yes...and in 3 or 4 games, too.
Wilbon You know you'll probably be sticking Jordan right?
GriffinYeah that makes sense because if we don't run our notorious 1-2-2 zone, Vince will be on Stackhouse, and Lenny Wilkens will likely put me on MJ. I still think I can do it though. The last time we played Washington, I blocked MJ's shot AT LEAST 6 times.
                Wilbon You sound pretty confident...
Griffin Well I'm not gonna be like some dudes in the NBA who try their hardest to be nice, and such. If I know I can take somebody, I'm gonna let someone know about...
Kornheiser Alright buddy, we're gonna have to let you go now...Thanks for talking with us, Eddie
Wilbon Yeah, thanks man, and good luck to the end of the season...
                GriffinNo problem, fellas. My pleasure...

                        @

Cousins, Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter meet for the final time this regular season, in Orlando. Both teams have their teams in the playoffs (barring a tragic collapse for both teams...).

Toronto threw up bricks for the whole first half, and the rim was wider than the ocean for Orlando. Darrell Armstrong couldn't be stopped, as the Raptors had no answer for him. He was making perimeter jumpers, and slashing through the lane with ease. HE finished with 27 points.

In the second half, Toronto took control of the game, while they were still not shooting well. They played solid defense, were workhorses on the boards, and converted a lot of turnovers into points. During the 4th quarter, TMac and Vince took control for their respective teams. Both were going at it, as everyone else just cleared to basically watch these to play 1-on-1.

Tracy McGrady, and the Orlando Magics came up victorious in this hard fought battle. Even if the score doesn't present this, the game was tougher and closer than you may think. Orlando wins, 112-97.

                        Tracy McGrady - 22 points
                        Darrell Armstrong - 27 points, 5 steals, 6 assist
                        Grant Hill - 15 points, 13 rebounds
                        Jacque Vaughn - 19 points, 5 assist

                        Vince Carter - 28 points, 12/31 fg's, 4 assist
                        Eddie Griffin - 15 points, 8 rebounds
                        Moochie Norris - 14 points, 8 assist
                        Jerome Williams - 17 rebounds

The Boston Celtics win the Atlantic Division Championship outright, and will MOST LIKELY have homecourt advantage through the Eastern Conference side of the Playoffs.

Even though Toronto lost last night, they claim their playoff spot, currently in 4th place.
