It certainly wasn't pretty at Tropicana Field. Nick Bierbrodt may not have let up a lot of runs, but, he certainly gave up a lot of hits in the Rays' 6-2 loss to the Yankees last night. Once again the weak spot for the Rays was their bullpen, Jorge Sosa was rocked for 5 hits and 4 runs in a weak 2 1/3 innings of work. The Rays bats weren't really awake either. Though the Rays managed 8 hits, poor baserunning decisions stalled them from ever getting into the game. Rays GM Chuck LaMar is said to be working on some possible deals to bring in more bullpen arms.

*BTW Jeff Weaver has 2 No Decisions against his former team, but, has pitched well enough to win both games. I think that's kinda cool.

GAME 4 (SIMMED):

NYY 2 7 1 LP: J. Lieber (0-2)
TB 8 18 2 WP: V. Zambrano (5-7)

How about that!?!?! I take 3 of 4 from the Yankees! I'm pretty stoked, I couldn't believe it when I was simming. I'm still looking for some cheap, decent middle relief help. Anyway, the Rays are on tonight at 7 so if I can get another game in before then I will play it, if not, then I'll plan another game tomorrow.

UP Next: 3 game home series against the Braves.

My question is did all those guys really get ejected or did you make it up?

I've had WSB for quite a while and have never gotten into a bean ball war with the other team, so I'm not sure if what I read was the cold hard facts or a little embelishment on your part.

It's really got me inturgued and am wanting to go home and start throwing at guys right now!!!

I've had WSB for quite a while and have never gotten into a bean ball war with the other team, so I'm not sure if what I read was the cold hard facts or a little embelishment on your part.

It's really got me inturgued and am wanting to go home and start throwing at guys right now!!!

Yeah, it actually happened. Now the ejections to Rocker and such didn't but, Kennedy did get ejected. The whole melee part was made up by me, but, Tejara did charge the mound and he and Kennedy were ejected. The game cuts away though when they start running at each other. But, believe it or not, for some reason Tejara was throwing at my guys all night, I have no idea why, so I decided to go after him myself.
