      Game 2 of 3

      Outlaws @ Royals

      Jeremy Affelft (0-0) @ Albie Lopez (0-0)

The Outlaws played this game in the 5th inning. It started with a lead off single from Tino Martinez, and Hidalgo didn't disappoint with his 2 run blast. Eric Byrnes decided to follow in his footsteps, putting up a 2 run shot of his own with 2 outs. The Royals came back with a one run inning after Dee Brown got on because of a single, and Febles knocked him in. The 9th inning was almost a mirror image of the Royal's 5th. Dee Brown got on with a single, but this time Angel Berroa came on with a double. Carlos Febles then hit a single to score both of them, racking up his third RBI of the night. Despite the 9th inning rally, MacDougal gets an ugly save, and the Outlaws come out with their 2nd win of the year. Win: 4-3

      Royals
      Febles: 4 AB, 2 H, 3 RBIs
      Brown: 4 AB, 2 H, 2 R

      Byrnes: 3 AB, 1 H, 1 HR, 2 RBIs

Mike MacDougal then came in to seal the deal, and after striking out two, the Outlaws got their third win of the year. Win: 2-0

Derin Erstad got a single in the second, and after stealing second and moving up on a very deep fly ball, he was in scoring position for Hidalgo. Richard Hodalgo sucessfully put up the sacrifice fly, and Erstad was home for the first run of the game. Glaus and Salmon both got on from singles, and Fullmer took advantage and sent a 3 run homer into the seats. The next batter up, Adam Kennedy, put up a solo shot for back to back home runs. After that, the Angels pitching was just too much for the Outlaws to handle. Loss: 4-2

                            Game 2 of 4

                            Outlaws @ Angels

                            Denny Neagle (0-1) @ Kevin Appier (0-1)

Derin Erstad got a single in the second, and after stealing second and moving up on a very deep fly ball, he was in scoring position for Hidalgo. Richard Hodalgo sucessfully put up the sacrifice fly, and Erstad was home for the first run of the game. In the 3rd Eric Byrnes came through with an RBI double, scoring Edgar Martinez and Jeff Cirillo. However, the angels put together a big inning in the 4th. Glaus and Salmon both got on from singles, and Fullmer took advantage and sent a 3 run homer into the seats. The next batter up, Adam Kennedy, put up a solo shot for back to back home runs. After that, the Angels pitching was just too much for the Outlaws to handle. Loss: 4-2
